Abstract: Techniques for user interface defect detection in media player applications are described. According to some embodiments, a computer-implemented method includes receiving a request at a cloud provider network to perform a defect detection on a media player application, capturing an image of a user interaction with a user interface of the media player application, determining, by the cloud provider network, one or more components of the user interface from pixels of the image, detecting, by the cloud provider network, a defect in the user interface from the one or more components without creating a reference image, and generating, by the cloud provider network, an output based at least in part on the defect.

A system may receive a user command and may receive content responsive to the command from an application(s). The content may include various kinds of data (e.g., audio data, image data, video data, etc.). The system may also receive a presentation framework from the application, with the presentation framework indicating how content responsive to the input command should be synchronously output by one or more devices. The system determines one or more devices proximate to the user, determines which of the one or more devices may be used to output content indicated in the presentation framework, and causes the one or more devices to output content in a synchronous manner.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system of managing communication with a set of accounts. The method includes the step of: allocating each account to a portfolio using a filter; selecting a communication strategy for each account using a set of rules for the portfolio; and managing communication with the account using the communication strategy. Historical information about the strategies used may be used in selecting a communication strategy for the account.

Abstract: A defibrillator connected by catheters (7) to the heart (6) has an external circuit (2, 12) connected to a passive implanted circuit (5) by transdermal induction via voils (3, 4). For atrial defibrillation, pulses of 3–4 J can be transmitted at about 7 MHz without damage, using an implanted coil (4) of 20 mm diameter.

Abstract: A cigarette is provided with a cylindrical ungrooved filter plug which is surrounded by a ventilated tipping wrapper spaced radially from the plug by a slotted sheet laminated to the inner surface of the tipping wrapper. The slots communicate with the ventilated portions of the tipping wrapper and provide channels extending to the mouth end of the plug, whereby ventilating air is drawn into the smoker's mouth unmixed with smoke passing through the filter plug.
