The current sensor unit includes a magnetic structure with a programmable Hall Effect device and may include a power supply, a Hall Effect voltage regulator, and an output signal conditioner.

For example, a collapsible toggle linkage selectively applies a force along an axis, which generally intersects the coil. The circuit breaker has a housing for a contact mechanism having a contact bar rotational axis. The magnetic sensing coil of the circuit breaker is not disposed between the contact mechanism and a side wall of the housing.
