  • Patent number: 11266871
Abstract: A stair exerciser apparatus for simulating stair climbing includes a frame, a lower shaft and an upper shaft mounted rotatably on the frame, a conveyor operatively engaged with the upper shaft and the lower shaft, a plurality of steps, a flywheel and a one-way clutch mechanism. The plurality of steps are joined to the conveyor for movement with the conveyor. The flywheel is operatively engaged with the conveyor. The one-way clutch mechanism is operatively engaged with the conveyor and the flywheel. The one-way clutch mechanism is configured to selectively couple the conveyor with the flywheel such that motion of the plurality of steps in a first step direction drives rotation of the flywheel when the one-way clutch mechanism is engaged, and the one-way clutch mechanism decouples the conveyor from the flywheel when the one-way clutch mechanism is disengaged.

  • Patent number: 11065502
Abstract: A height adjustment mechanism for exercising apparatus includes a first frame body and a second frame body being slidable relative to the first frame body in an adjusting direction. The second frame body has a series of positioning holes. A pressing member is disposed at one side of the first frame body for tightening or loosening the second frame body. A slidable block is limitedly movable along the first frame body in the adjusting direction. A pin member is received in the slidable block and operable to be engaged in a selected one of the positioning holes so that movement of the second frame body causes movement of the slidable block within a limited range. When the slidable block moves toward bottom of the limited range, the pressing member is pulled inward by at least one connecting arm to a tightening position to clamp the second frame body.

  • Patent number: 10561892
Abstract: A position adjusting device for exercising apparatus includes a first frame body and a second frame body that are relatively displaceable in a longitudinal direction. A pressing member and a control assembly are respectively disposed at opposite sides of the first frame body. The control assembly has an axle portion and a deflection portion with an elastically extendable distance therebetween. At least one connecting arm connects the deflection portion and the pressing member. The control assembly is rotatable about the axle portion, so that the deflection portion is movable from a first position through a second position to a third position. When the deflection portion is in the first position, the distance is between a maximum length and a minimum length. When the deflection portion is in the second position, the distance is the minimum length. When the deflection portion is in the third position, the distance is the maximum length.

  • Patent number: 10398933
Abstract: An exercise apparatus includes a resistance system which has a first rotating shaft, a second rotating shaft and a transmission mechanism mounted between the two rotating shafts, such that the two rotating shafts are rotated with respect to each other at a predetermined transmission ratio. Besides, a first resistance device is controlled to apply a first resistance against rotation of the first rotating shaft, and a second resistance device is controlled to apply a second resistance against rotation of the second rotating shaft. The first resistance device and the second resistance device can be controlled independently. When a user uses the exercise apparatus to perform exercise, a moving member is driven by movement of the user. When the moving member is moved, the two rotating shafts are driven to rotate simultaneously, namely the user has to overcome the rotational resistance of the two rotating shaft during exercise.

  • Patent number: 9993682
Abstract: A stair exerciser apparatus includes a frame having a pair of inclined supports, a drive mechanism, a plurality of stairs and an electromagnetic resistance device. The stairs are coupled to the drive mechanism for traveling around the pair of inclined supports. The electromagnetic resistance device is coupled to the drive mechanism to control the running speed of the stairs. The electromagnetic resistance device has a flywheel, an electromagnet and a brake unit. The electromagnet is coupled to the brake unit for controlling rotation resistance of the flywheel. The brake unit has a brake block for stopping the flywheel to stop the stairs. The brake unit is pivotally rotatable between a non-braking position where the brake block is pulled away from the flywheel when the electromagnet is energized and a braking position where the brake block is pulled to stop the flywheel when the electromagnet is loss of power.

  • Publication number: 20150273267
Abstract: An adjustable exercise bicycle includes a fixed frame, a seat, a movable frame, a locking device, a pedal device and an assisting device. The assisting device is arranged between the fixed frame and the movable frame. The assisting device is for forcing the movable frame and generating a first moment about the axis. The total weight of the movable frame and its loading generate a second moment about the axis. The resultant moment of the first moment and the second moment is a third moment which can move the movable frame from a second angle to a first angle when the movable frame is oriented at an unlocked state. The user can force the pedal device against the third moment for moving the movable frame from the first angle to the second angle.

  • Patent number: 8104987
Abstract: A locking and unlocking apparatus using an engagement pin with beveled surfaces designed to be inserted between two bodies. As the engagement pin is extended axially into a gap between the two bodies, it moves in a transverse direction to wedge tightly between the first and second body, locking them tightly together. When the engagement pin is retracted, the second body is able to move relative to the first body. A plurality of engagement surfaces placed into one of the bodies allows the mechanism to be locked into a plurality of set positions. These engagement surfaces on the first and second bodies also serve to locate the engagement pin when in the fully locked position, thereby reducing the need for tight tolerances.
