Abstract: An electroluminescent sign and system are provided. The sign includes a panel having a front face and a rear face, the front face having a graphic image provided thereon and an illuminable image including an electroluminescent element; a power supply electrically connectable to the electroluminescent element; and a circuit including the power supply and a sensor operatively connected to the electroluminescent element. The electroluminescent element is illuminable upon an activation signal generated by the sensor. The sensor can include a motion sensor and/or a light sensor.

Abstract: A toothbrush holder comprises a main body having a toothbrush removal sensor positioned to detect removal of the toothbrush from the toothbrush holder and issuing a removal signal in response to the removal of the toothbrush. A timer initiates a time count when the removal signal is issued by the toothbrush removal sensor. A display is provided on the main body and displays an indicia of the time count upon the commencement of the time count. The toothbrush holder further comprises a top section having at least one aperture that removably receives a toothbrush handle. The top section is removably mounted to the main body. The toothbrush holder further comprises a bottom section comprising a drip tray removably mounted to the main body.

The backpack includes a front face, a rear face and at least one openable compartment and a shoulder strap assembly. The carry bag is removably receivable in a recess provided on the rear of the backpack. The recess is sized to cushion the carry bag.

Abstract: The described embodiments relate to methods and systems for developing an electroluminescent sign. In particular, described embodiments relate to methods and systems that process an image file to generate data for use in developing the electroluminescent sign. Further embodiments relate to an electroluminescent sign developed and/or produced in accordance with the described methods and/or systems. Certain embodiments relate to a method of developing an electroluminescent sign based on an image file. The method comprises processing the image file to generate image data representing at least one illuminating image layer and electrical configuration data, transferring the at least one illuminating image layer onto a substrate and configuring a luminescence controller of the electroluminescent sign based on the electrical configuration data. The configured luminescence controller cooperates with the substrate to provide a luminescent image based on the image file.
