Abstract: Example systems and methods of mobile access to information for items or objects, such as, for example, product and inventory items found in a warehouse or on a shop floor, are presented. In one example, an identifier is received at a mobile communication device. A search request including the identifier is transmitted from the mobile communication device to an enterprise resource planning system. Information descriptive of at least one item is received at the mobile communication device from the enterprise resource planning system in response to the search request. The information is presented to a user of the mobile communication device.

Abstract: Example systems and methods of mobile access to enterprise work area information are presented. In one example, a floor plan of a work area that includes a number of workcenters is displayed. Representations of the workcenters are also displayed with the floor plan according to their physical locations within the work area. Information describing an operational status of at least one of the workcenters is received from an enterprise resource planning system. This information is visibly linked with the representation of its associated workcenter.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for providing search results in response to a business object search request. The methods and systems may generate result business objects in response to a search request including a search term, the result business objects each having attributes at least one of which includes data that matches the search term. Also, the methods and system may generate a default attribute display set including at least a first attribute associated with each of the result business objects and a dynamic attribute display set that includes any attribute that includes data that matches the search term for any of the result business objects. Based on the default and dynamic attribute display sets, a result display set is generated. The methods and system may also display search results presenting data corresponding to the attributes included in the result display set.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for providing guided navigation across different types of result objects. The methods and systems may receive a search request and generate a search result based on the search request, the search result including result objects of different object types. Further, the methods and systems may normalize the result objects based on metadata associated with generic attributes related to each object type. Based on the normalization, guided navigation results are generated across the different object types of the result objects. Further, the methods and systems may create a metadata database by defining object types for result objects that are generated in response to a search request and defining generic attributes corresponding to the object types. The generic attributes reflect attributes that apply to all object types.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and system for integrating and displaying information about one or more enterprise facilities. Descriptors representing information about the status and performance of a facility or multiple facilities may be collected and presented in a single computer screen display along with associated values, enabling a manager to see the status of the facility or facilities at a glance and consequently to be able to make better plans and decisions. The embodiments may further provide a number of interactive features, including enabling users to create customized views and customized status thresholds.
