  • Publication number: 20230312264
Abstract: A system and method for identifying and tracking singly conveyed products, which are cylindrical at least in regions, and have a peripheral surface to which a marking is respectively applied. The products are conveyed in a direction of transport by a transport device, and during conveyance are rotated by a friction element that comes into engagement with each product by friction as the products are being conveyed. The marking applied to the peripheral surface of each product is read by a stationary camera system having at least two cameras, as the respective product is being rotated.

  • Patent number: 10926964
Abstract: In the device and the method for transferring blister packs, two blister packs are first transferred from a stamping station to an intermediate place element and then from the intermediate place element to a single-file conveying means. The two blister packs are placed on the intermediate place element next to each other in a row on either side of a longitudinal center plane of the device. During the transfer from the intermediate storage element to the conveying means, both blister packs are picked from above from their intermediate place positions and also placed from above in the common final place position. When in the final place position, each blister pack has the same side facing up as in the corresponding intermediate place position but now with a rotation of 180° around its center. In addition, the blister packs acquire a lateral offset from the longitudinal center plane during the transfer.

  • Patent number: 7451952
Abstract: A section of a foil is sandwiched between an upper die and a first lower die and heat deformed into a cavity of the first lower die while simultaneously synchronously displacing the upper die, the first lower die, and the foil downstream. Then the upper die is raised and recirculated back upstream while cooling the section of foil in the cavity of the first lower die and displacing the lower die with the section of the foil downstream. Another section of the foil is sandwiched between the upper die and a second lower die and heat deformed into a cavity of the second lower die while simultaneously synchronously displacing the upper die, the second lower die, and the foil downstream. The first lower die is disengaged from the foil in the downstream station and recirculated back upstream to the upstream station. These steps are then repeated.

  • Patent number: 7055670
Abstract: An apparatus for sorting identical flat-bottomed objects has a vibratory conveyor defining a generally horizontal support surface. A plurality of the objects are supplied to an upstream end of the surface standing on their flat bottoms and the objects travel along the surface while standing on their bottoms. A sorting drum rotatable about a horizontal axis at a downstream end of the conveyor is formed with at least one row of radially outwardly open seats generally complementary to the objects and each having a flat floor. The drum is rotated between a pickup position in which the flat floors of the one row of seats are aligned and generally coplanar with the support surface and closely juxtaposed with the downstream end and a handoff position with the one row of seats raised up above the support surface. The objects are taken out of the seats in the takeoff position.
