  • Publication number: 20240090884
Abstract: A surgical robot system includes a robot having a robot base and a robot arm coupled to the robot base, and a surgical retractor. The surgical retractor includes a retractor frame, a coupler, blades, a force and/or torque sensor, and a force and/or torque feedback determination unit. The retractor frame includes arms that are translatably and/or pivotably connected to the retractor frame. The coupler releasably attaches the retractor frame to the robot arm. The blades are each coupled to and extend away from a distal end of one of the arms. The force and/or torque sensor is connected to the blades and indicates an amount of force and/or torque being applied to the blades from contact with material of a surgical site. The force and/or torque feedback determination unit determines the amount of force and/or torque being applied to the blades based on the indication.

  • Patent number: 10065338
Abstract: A method and a device for adjusting a knife assembly of a knife ring to a predetermined knife projection, wherein the knife assembly is designed to be arranged in the knife ring at a chip angle ?, relative to the inside of the knife ring. The knife assembly is formed by a knife holding plate and a chipping knife which are positively connected with one another in a predetermined, relative target position. A knife assembly to be adjusted is provided, wherein the knife holding plate and the chipping knife are displaceable relative to one another. The knife holding plate is displaced in its plane, transversely to its direction of longitudinal extension towards its rear edge, against a first stop. • Publication number: 20060202459
Abstract: An occupant protection device for reducing the risk of a head injury has a cable assembly element provided in the vicinity of the A-pillar and at the same time acts as an energy absorption element, thus forming a combined functional unit. This permits the risk of injury to be kept to a minimum and allows a simple assembly.

  • Patent number: 7095628
Abstract: A fuse box for a vehicle contains a base box having a housing in which a first bus bar with a battery connection terminal is disposed. The fuse box is configured according to a modular system. For this purpose, the housing is provided for the attachment of an extension box. The extension box preferably has a second bus bar that is placed in contact with the first bus bar. As a result of the modular system with the extension box, it is possible, for example, to allow for extensions in a vehicle on-board power system with little expenditure in respect of the fuse box.

  • Patent number: 6637286
Abstract: A quiet drive device for motor vehicle sliding sunroofs is proposed capable of withstanding even strong drive forces and permitting an equal, that is to say, smooth displacement of a cover of the motor vehicle sliding sunroofs. The drive device comprises a toothed belt, which is guided so that two parallel line sections are formed on the toothed belt. On the running line sections the toothed belt, with an external toothing extending without interruption over its outer circumference, is in meshing engagement with two drive cables for a cover. An internal toothing extending without interruption over the inner surface of the toothed belt is in meshing engagement with a toothed pinion that can be driven to rotate in both directions and is partially wrapped by the toothed belt.

  • Patent number: 5971429
Abstract: A steering wheel for motor vehicles is provided and has a horn switch that is disposed thereon as well as an air bag device that has a receiving chamber for receiving a gas generator as well as an air bag that is folded therein. The opening of the receiving chamber is closed off by a protective cover that has a predetermined breaking point and that can be opened when the device is activated by the inflating air bag. To carry out a honking function, the protective cover is disposed so as to be relatively movable. The receiving chamber for the air bag is closed off by a hold-down part that absorbs the packing pressure, is held in place on the receiving chamber, and opens as a consequence of the inflating air bag. To be able to open, the hold-down part is provided with a predetermined breaking point.
