  • Patent number: 11084240
Abstract: A path-controlled press, with at least one drive shaft having a driver that is eccentric relative to a shaft axis, and a sliding block, wherein the sliding block is driven by the driver to perform a forcibly actuated movement During the execution of a pressure stroke, the sliding block is guided on at least one sliding surface on the pressure side in relation to a pressure-side surface of a slide guide. The sliding block has a sliding surface on the pulling side opposite the sliding surface on the pressure side, which is guided on a surface of the slide guide on the pulling side. The sliding surface on the pressure side of the sliding block has a concave or convex curvature. The sliding surface on the pulling side of the sliding block has another respective concave or convex curvature.

  • Patent number: 10960420
Abstract: A spray head for supplying at least one die of a forming machine with lubricating coolant, the forming machine including a lower die and an upper die, is preferably produced by rapid manufacturing and is designed as a single piece to a large extent. The use of rapid manufacturing allows the production of the most varied configurations, such as stabilizing honey-comb structures or drip points, which allow a more advantageous design of the spray head. The spray head carries at least one two-substance nozzle connected with at least one feed channel. The nozzle body of the nozzle and the channel wall of the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another or the channel wall of the feed channel and a spray head foot carrying a supply connector connected with the feed channel are configured in one piece with one another.

  • Patent number: 10792723
Abstract: A binary nozzle for atomizing a mixture of agent to be sprayed and spray air is connected to at least one supply duct via which the mixture or the agent to be sprayed can be supplied to the binary nozzle, wherein a valve is arranged between this supply duct and a nozzle outlet of the binary nozzle. A corresponding spray head and also a method for atomizing a mixture of agent to be sprayed and spray air uses a binary nozzle. The binary nozzle includes a nozzle body formed in a single piece and including the nozzle outlet, wherein a movable assembly of the valve is fastened to the nozzle body by a fastening element and/or held tight against the nozzle body by a spring device.

  • Patent number: 7946145
Abstract: In a method for blowing out and/or for spraying dies (3, 5), arranged at the top and/or bottom, of forging presses, in particular drop forging presses, comprising automatic workpiece transport by means of a transport lifting beam (8) provided with gripping devices (9) and comprising a mechanical blow-out and spray device (11; 10) which is introduced into the tool space (1) of the forging press and is withdrawn again from the latter, a spray lifting beam (11) provided with spray devices (10) is moved into the tool space (1) synchronously with the lifting and removal movement of the transport lifting beam (8), but independently of the latter, while the transport lifting beam (8) lifts a workpiece (6) produced in a preceding forging operation and removes it from the tool space (1), wherein the spray devices (10) are actuated within the tool space and the forging dies (3, 5) are lubricated and/or cooled close to the contour.

  • Patent number: 7168540
Abstract: A coupling has a low-torque/high-slip clutch connected between a drive output and an input constituted by a press, shear, or stamper, and a high-torque/low-slip clutch also connected between the output and the input. In a startup phase the low-torque/high-slip clutch is engaged and the high-torque/low-slip clutch is disengaged to bring the load input up to a predetermined rotary threshold speed. Thereafter in a working phase the low-torque/high-slip clutch is disengaged and the high-torque/low-slip clutch is engaged to drive the load at a rotary speed at least equal to the rotary threshold speed.

  • Patent number: 6142275
Abstract: A press has a nonrotating tube shaft centered on an axis, a rotatable output shaft coaxially received in the tube shaft and having a shaft end, and a supply of fluid under pressure. A brake element fixed on the tube shaft forms with an axially movable brake element angularly coupled with the output shaft a pressurizable brake chamber. A fluid line extending from the brake chamber through the tube shaft to the fluid supply can pressurize the brake chamber and thereby couple the brake elements with each other so that the output shaft is braked against the tube shaft. A flywheel rotatable about the axis on the tube shaft carries a first clutch element rotatable about the axis. A second clutch element rotatable about the axis adjacent the first clutch element forms there-with a pressurizable clutch chamber.

  • Patent number: 5913394
Abstract: A coupling apparatus has a stationary housing and a pair of parts inside the housing and rotatable about a common axis. One of the parts normally rotates continuously. Coupling elements between the parts are engageable together to rotationally couple the parts to each other and are separable for free relative rotation of the parts relative to each other. A row of teeth on the one part mesh with a drive pinion of a pump mounted on the housing for circulating coolant and lubricating oil through the coupling elements.
