Abstract: A computer-based method is used for completing missing data needed in a transaction-tax-related application, where the method uses completing rules that define, depending on which missing data needs to be completed, what further data might be considered for deriving the missing data. A completing rule associated with the missing data is evaluated, and an auto-completion certainty parameter is determined as a result of the completing rule evaluation. Completed data is derived according to the certainty parameter.
