Patent number: 10179472Abstract: The invention concerns a process for producing a film element having mutually registered metallic layers (11, 16) and a film element which can be produced by such a process. A first metallic layer (11) provided on a first surface of a flexible single-layer or multi-layer carrier film (10) and a masking layer (13) provided on the second surface of the carrier film (10), opposite to the first surface, are structured in accurate register relationship with each other by means of mutually synchronized structuring procedures. After structuring of the first metallic layer (11) and the masking layer (13) one or more further layers are applied to the first metallic layer (11). Applied to the one or more further layers (15) is a second metallic layer (16) to which a first photoactivatable layer (17) is applied.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2016Date of Patent: January 15, 2019Assignee: Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KGInventors: Ludwig Brehm, Haymo Katschorek, Norbert Laus

Patent number: 9599451Abstract: Disclosed is a plastic film and to a touch module produced therefrom. The module is constructed from two conductive layers with an insulation layer in between, as are used in capacitive touch pads and/or touch screens, for example. The problem of connecting the respective x or y sensors across two planes in a cost-effective manner employs foldable sensor planes in the plastic film suitable for mass production. The connections and conductor tracks are concentrated on one plane on a sensor side wherein the sensor planes are arranged on flexible materials. The registering of the two planes relative to each other is simplified via a secure mechanical connection of the two planes via a fold in the film.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2012Date of Patent: March 21, 2017Assignee: PolyIC GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Andreas Ullmann, Walter Fix, Norbert Laus, Haymo Katschorek

Publication number: 20150334824Abstract: The invention provides a large number of possibilities for how, in the case of a multi-layer body with electrically conductive elements which are not visible to the naked eye, the electrically conductive elements can be prevented from excessively reflecting light back. Here, a suitable surface roughness for the electrically conductive elements can be selected, or at least one additional layer (54) can be provided on the electrically conductive elements (51l).Type: ApplicationFiled: December 21, 2012Publication date: November 19, 2015Applicants: LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co.
