  • Patent number: 11865558
Abstract: A nozzle for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, has at least one material nozzle having a hollow portion for the passage of material to be sprayed; a material outlet opening; and a disk element extending radially from the material nozzle and having at least one passage opening. The nozzle has at least one first baffle disk which is arranged on the disk element and has an inner and an outer circumference. The first baffle disk is arranged on the disk element directly, in particular without a sealing element arranged inbetween. The disadvantages that separate sealing elements have to be specially produced and may be lost or damaged, can thereby be avoided. The nozzle according to the disclosure and related nozzle sets, paint spray guns and methods for producing nozzles are functionally reliable, have only few individual parts and a compact design and are quiet.

  • Patent number: 11826771
Abstract: A set of nozzles for a spray gun, especially a compressed-air paint spray gun, comprises at least one nozzle module group with at least two different nozzle modules for mounting in or on the same base module of a spray gun. The nozzle modules have different medium flow rates under the same spray conditions, the spray jets generated by the nozzle modules having substantially the same spray jet section height and the same spray jet section width, the spray jet sections of the different nozzle modules in particular being congruent. A spray gun system, a method for embodying a nozzle module, a method for selecting a nozzle module from a set of nozzles for a paint job, a selection system, in particular a “slide gate system”, and a computer program product are also disclosed. The user can select the nozzle module which is ideal for the paint job and mode of operation in question.

  • Publication number: 20230149955
Abstract: A spray gun includes first and second air outlet channel arrangements. At least one parameter, in particular pressure, volume flow and/or flow speed of air flowing through the first arrangement and at least one parameter, in particular pressure, volume flow and/or flow speed of air flowing through the second arrangement can be controlled independently of one another in an open and/or closed loop manner. The spray gun also includes a third air outlet channel arrangement and at least one parameter, in particular pressure, volume flow and/or flow speed of air flowing through the third arrangement can be controlled in an open and/or closed loop manner independently of at least one parameter of the first arrangement, and/or independently of at least one parameter of the second arrangement. Thus, three different types of air (atomisation, shaping, and transporting) can each be controlled independently providing increased flexibility in use for different painting tasks.

  • Publication number: 20230107860
Abstract: A spray gun, in particular a pressurised air atomisation paint spray gun, in particular a hand-held pressurised air atomisation paint spray gun has at least one material nozzle for discharging a material to be sprayed, at least one air nozzle for outputting air, in particular air for atomising a material to be sprayed, air for changing the shape of a spray jet, and/or air for transporting an atomised spraying medium, and at least one air chamber, in particular an air chamber adjoining the air nozzle or at least one air outlet opening of the air nozzle in the upstream direction, for supplying the air nozzle with air. The spray gun also has at least one device for inputting and/or adjusting and/or detecting and/or determining and/or displaying the air pressure in the air chamber during operation of the spray gun.

  • Publication number: 20230087047
Abstract: A spray gun has at least one air valve that can be actuated by at least one trigger, having at least one valve inlet region and at least one valve outlet region. The spray gun has at least one material valve designed in such a way that it can be pneumatically actuated by air from the at least one valve outlet region. With this design, the force to be exerted to actuate the actuation element by the user of the spray gun is significantly lower than in prior spray guns, which allows for effortless operation.

  • Publication number: 20220370944
Abstract: A filter element, in particular a replaceable filter element, more particularly for separating particles and/or gases and/or liquids, in particular a filter cartridge for use in a filter, more particularly a compressed air filter, in particular as a component of a filter comprising multiple filtration stages, includes a substantially tubular body with an annular end face that faces a filter head, an underside, and a circumferential surface. Multiple, preferably four, retaining arms, running radially in relation to the central axis, are provided in the region of the end face and a toroidal filter-element sealing surface is provided on the end face, and the retaining arms protrude in relation to the filter-element sealing surface. The filter element is usable in a filter.

  • Publication number: 20220347616
Abstract: A seal arrangement for a filter for fluid-tight sealing between a filter element and a filter head includes an annular elastic seal, a filter head sealing face and a filter element sealing face. The seal has a filter head side facing the filter head sealing face, a filter element side facing the filter element sealing face, an inner face running circumferentially on the inner side, and an outer face running circumferentially on the lateral side. The filter head side has a circumferential first recess between the inner and outer faces. The filter element side has a circumferential second recess between the inner and outer faces. The seal arrangement is configured in such a way that the seal, when subjected to a pressure from the inner face and/or from the outer face, is wedged in the direction of the acting force, between part faces of the sealing faces that narrow toward the middle.

  • Publication number: 20220080448
Abstract: A sealing element seals a transition between a body of a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, and an attachment of a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, in particular a paint nozzle. The sealing element is configured so that it forms an axially acting sealing surface and a radially acting sealing surface with the body and/or the attachment when the attachment is arranged in body. An attachment, in particular a paint nozzle arrangement for a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun, and a spray gun, in particular a paint spray gun can each have such a sealing element. Due to the axially acting sealing surface and the radially acting sealing surface, the sealing element provides a significantly improved sealing effect relative to sealing elements of the prior art.

  • Publication number: 20220048054
Abstract: A paint gun for atomizing (in particular by way of compressed-air-assisted atomization) and applying a coating material such as a paint has a material-guiding part, a non-material-guiding part, and a transmitting and/or receiving device for wireless signal transmission. In order to increase the functional reliability and provide optimal operability in the environment in which the coating material is applied, the transmitting and/or receiving device for wireless signal transmission is arranged at a distance from the material-guiding part and is associated with the non-material-guiding part. Alternatively or additionally, an increased functional reliability is achieved by designing the transmitting and/or receiving device for wireless signal transmission in accordance with two different radio standards. Furthermore, a material application system comprising such a paint gun as well as a method for operating same are described.
