  • Publication number: 20130316976
Abstract: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical formulation that contains a complex of a propofol salt with a cyclodextrin. The invention makes it possible to provide propofol in a formulation that can be stored and that can be administered intravenously without problems.

  • Publication number: 20110028457
Abstract: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical preparation for applying a pharmaceutical agent. According to the invention, the preparation contains: a) a pharmaceutical agent which has an aromatic group or an aromatic part and the molecule of which has a maximum diameter of ?2 nm; b) a permethylated cyclodextrin having a degree of substitution of 3 methyl groups per glucopyranose unit. The permethylated cyclodextrin and the pharmaceutical agent form a complex.

  • Patent number: 5718685
Abstract: A stomach probe has an aspiration tube (1) and a stomach balloon (7) which is to be held, by tensioning of the aspiration tube (1), in contact against the stomach wall (12) surrounding the cardiac orifice (5). The stomach balloon is connected to a pressure control device which is equipped to indicate at least two pressure stages, of which the lower one corresponds to the freely inflated state of the stomach balloon when the tube is untensioned, and the higher one corresponds to the tensioned state of the aspiration tube. The stomach balloon (7) is arranged on the aspiration tube at points which are at a short distance from each other, so that it assumes approximately a torus configuration in the inflated state. It is elastically resilient in the longitudinal direction of the tube.

  • Patent number: 5462528
Abstract: A stomach tube having an inflatable balloon for closing the stomach opening and an indicator for indicating the balloon pressure at first and second predetermined pressure levels. After the stomach tube is inserted, the stomach balloon is inflated without the stomach tube under tension until the lower pressure level is indicated. The stomach tube is then tensioned until the higher pressure level is indicated. A nose stop is used to maintain the stomach tube tension.
