  • Patent number: 11503834
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring the shoulder joint position of continuously conveyed poultry bodies has a measuring station, arranged along a conveying line, which is adapted to detect the shoulder joint position. Also provided is an arrangement for filleting poultry bodies having such an apparatus for measuring, and to corresponding methods.

  • Patent number: 11338532
Abstract: An apparatus for separating materials with different flowability has a rotationally driven hollow drum with a perforated peripheral surface, stripping means for stripping away material, and a continuous compression belt pressed from outside onto the drum by wrapping around part of the circumference of the drum, an intake wedge for the material. The belt is mounted by a drive roller and bearing roller. The drive roller controllably variably presses into a pressing position against the drum, separated by the belt. The drive roller position is adjustably set by a first positioning device via a control device, with a first end abutment element for mechanical position limitation. Part of the first positioning device comes into blocking contact with a first counter-surface of the first end abutment element in the pressing position of the drive roller and the first counter-surface of the first end abutment element is adjustable by the control device.

  • Publication number: 20020111670
Abstract: This invention relates to methods and arrangement for reducing complications after implantation of an intravascular stent and, more particularly, for reducing the risk of restenosis due to stent implantation. This is achieved by using 17beta-estradiol as vessel healing substance after implantation of an intravascular stent. The 17beta-estradiol can be coated onto an intravascular stent and be included in a drug elution system applied to the intravascular stent. This can be achieved by means of a surface coating process such as CVD process. 17beta-estradiol inhibits the growth of smooth muscle cells and stimulates the re-endothelialization after implantation of an intravascular stent. The present invention makes use of these effects in order to prevent restenosis and in-stent stenosis.

  • Patent number: 6383215
Abstract: An intravascular stent reduces the risk of restenosis due to stent implantation by using 17beta-estradiol as a vessel healing substance after implantation of an intravascular stent. The 17beta-estradiol coats at least a portion of the surface of the stent and is adhered to the stent with an adhesive layer containing DLC (“diamond-like carbon”). 17beta-estradiol inhibits the growth of smooth muscle cells and stimulates the re-endothelialization after implantation of an intravascular stent.
