    Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrically-controlled vacuum-enclosed cryogenic valve including firstly a body receiving the seat for a valve member, and inlet and outlet channels for a cryogenic fluid, the body and the channels being disposed in an enclosure in which a vacuum is created, and secondly a moving valve member whose stem is actuated by moving core and a control electromagnetic winding, a return spring pressing the valve member against its seat in the absence of excitation. In accordance with the present invention, the moving core of such a valve is placed inside the vacuum enclosure which is secured to a a sleeve that separates the moving core from the control electromagnetic winding, which is placed outside the enclosure. Preferably, a bellows that is secured both to the valve body and to the stem implements sealing between the vacuum enclosure and the fluid flowing through the channels.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a cryogenic liquid pump provided with a pump body driven by a motor assembly and integrated in a cryogenic liquid tank. The pump body is removable and can be put selectively in communication with the tank by sliding the pump body into a well. A first non-return valve enables transfer of liquid from the tank to the pump body via an outlet orifice. A second non-return valve enables flow of cold gas from the gas overhead of the tank towards a rear end of the pump body from which it exhausted to the outside via a sweeping/venting orifice. The sweeping/venting orifice outlet is preferably provided with a device for adjusting the flow rate of cold gas leaving the pump body.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for lifting an immersed device and returning it into position, and to a device for carrying out the method, wherein the device to be lifted up is provided with a locating buoy and a wound up guide line whose ends are connected to the buoy and to a locking member connected to the base on which the immersed device is mounted; the buoy is released, taking with it the guide line, along which the device is raised. The device to be replaced in position is provided with a new buoy, guide line and locking member and is lowered along the first mentioned guide line, which is severed after the device to be replaced in position has returned to the base. The method is applicable for example to lifting and replacing a remote-control pod for an underwater well head.
