Abstract: Disclosed is a method for transmitting user data objects from a data-supplying component or a data server to a telecommunication device of a user via a connection component. The data-supplying component is informed via profile information in a profile object what types of user data objects the connection component or the telecommunication unit is able to process on its own such that the data supplying component can specifically transmit user data objects to the telecommunication device, which belong to the type that the telecommunication device can process. Hence, the data-supplying component is prevented from sending user data objects of a type that has to be converted by the connection component on the transmission path in order to be able to processed by the telecommunication device.

Abstract: Within the scope of a setup of a push-to-talk communications link, a link setup message is transmitted from a first push-to-talk client unit to a push-to-talk server unit. The link setup message contains a mode information item which specifies whether the client unit desires a setup of the communications link in the unconfirmed indication mode or in the confirmed indication mode.

Abstract: Provided are a method for changing between a packet-oriented PTT session and a circuit-oriented telephone connection between at least two radio communication appliances, an associated radio communication appliance, a network component and a radio communication system. To change between a packet-oriented PTT session and a circuit-oriented telephone connection as selectable communication connections between at least one first connected radio communication appliance and at least one second connected radio communication appliance in a radio communication system, a first of these two communication connections is selected and set up by at least one connected radio communication appliance and/or by at least one control unit in the radio network in the radio communication system.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for adapting uplink signaling during multicasting, according to which the user devices of a multicast group receive a multicast message from a network control unit via a radio channel (PMcCH) in a downlink connection. Said radio channel is adapted with respect to its power by transmitting information in an uplink connection via a corresponding radio channel (UL-DPCCH). According to the invention, said radio channel (UL-DPCCH) is power-controlled via at least one associated common radio channel (DL-PMcCH) that is associated with one or more of the user devices by transmitting corresponding information in the downlink direction from the network control unit to the user devices. Said information is then processed by the receiving user devices to adapt the power of the respective associated radio channels (UL-DPCCH) in the uplink direction.

Abstract: A method is provided for the administration of a muticast service whereby mobile terminals of users who have subscribed to the multicast service receive multicast messages via a mobile communication network. The present invention seeks to use the available radio resources in a more economical manner. To this end, the mobile terminals are respectively prodied with an input unit which, when actuated, produces activation information which indicates whether the multicast service is activated or deactivated, and the activation information is transmitted to the mobile communication network.

Abstract: A method of transmitting data from a sender to a number of recipients in a system with a multilayer protocol architecture, in which the data are divided for organizational purposes into data packets having header data and payload data, a transmitting and/or receiving unit and a communication system. The transmission of data in the form of a point-to-multipoint transmission over a general channel, in particular in a mobile radio system, is carried out by adding to packet data which are being sent to multicast groups control data for the identification of a specific multicast group.
