  • Publication number: 20200274208
Abstract: The invention relates to a new battery element (10), in which a thermal conduction element in the form of a multi-chamber hollow profiled element (20) having chambers (21) is integrated in addition to a battery cell. The heat transfer is optimal, because the temperature-controlled multi-chamber hollow profiled element (20) is in planar contact with the battery cell. The electrodes (31) of the battery element (10) are surrounded by an outer electrical insulation, which is formed solely by an outer film (40, 40) or by said film (40, 40?) and a thermoplastic plastic coating (27) of the multi-chamber hollow profiled element (20).

  • Publication number: 20150068713
Abstract: The invention relates to a solder powder for connecting components made of aluminium or aluminium alloys by brazing, in particular a brazing powder for connecting heat exchanger components. The solder powder consists of powder particles on an aluminium-silicon base having a weight fraction of more than 12% by weight of silicon, wherein the powder particles have been produced by a rapid solidification and contain uniformly distributed silicon primary crystal precipitations in the eutectic aluminium-silicon alloy structure. Coating with such a solder powder leads to a uniform distribution of the silicon on the surface of the component coated with solder powder and thus to the same good soldering results.

  • Patent number: 7726390
Abstract: The invention relates to a hollow chamber profile made of metal, especially for heat exchangers. Said profile is made of an extruded base profile (10) having two broad parallel sides and two narrow sides or is made of a base profile which is a circular tube type or coaxial tube type. At least one channel (11) extends inside said base profile in the longitudinal direction thereof. The hollow profile has improved heat transfer properties on the sides and webs (13) which are deformed perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof.

  • Publication number: 20090053547
Abstract: The invention relates to a component made from aluminium material with a partial or complete coating of the surfaces for brazing and method for production of the coating. According to the method, fine-grain particulate brazing material is at least partly fused by means of a low temperature plasma beam and spayed onto the surfaces of the component in fused form, whereby the brazing agent forms a uniform good adhesion to the surfaces of the component. The application of the brazing agent can occur at any region of the surfaces of the component, for example, even on the edges. The particular advantage of said method is that a precisely dosed, uniform and well adhering coating of brazing agent can be achieved, whereby the use of solvents and binders can be avoided in the production process which is environmentally-friendly.

  • Patent number: 7143622
Abstract: The invention relates to an extruded composite profile (10) and to method for separately winding two individual simultaneously extruded tubes (20, 30) with the aid of a winding device. The inventive extruded composite profile (10) consists of at least two individual tubes (20, 30) connected to each other with the aid of a thin binding site which makes it possible to extrude thereof in such a way that they run out from an extruder (a) at an identical velocity (v1). Said output velocity is regulated by a regulating device (D) in order to obtain a constant velocity (v2) prior to dividing the extruded composite profile (10) into said individual tubes by means of a dividing device (E) which are wound afterwards. The levelling of the tubes output velocity (v1) and the winding velocity (v3) corresponding to (v2) makes it possible to carry out a low-cost winding of several simultaneously extruded profiles.

  • Patent number: 6928910
Abstract: In a method for separating a flat pipe section of aluminum or an aluminum alloy from a solder-coated, thin-walled flat pipe section member for producing a clean, bur-free separating cut, the solder coating is first mechanically removed from the flat pipe section member at a predetermined separating location and, subsequently, the flat pipe section member is cut with at least one sharp cutting blade at the predetermined separating location.

  • Patent number: 6648214
Abstract: In a method for partial or complete coating of surfaces of components of aluminum and its alloys with a uniform layer of homogeneously distributed solder, fluxing agent and binder for brazing of the components to one another, the solder, fluxing agent and binder are applied in powder form at high speeds up to 180 m/min onto the surfaces provided for brazing by electrostatic powder coating. The powder particles have a particle size of 5 to 30 &mgr;m. The proportion of binder relative to the total quantity of powder is smaller than 35% by weight. The uniform layer of homogeneously distributed solder, fluxing agent and binder has only a thickness of less than 50 &mgr;m. Heat is used melting this layer.
