  • Patent number: 7392209
Abstract: A rental company system 100 comprises a branch master table 124 for unitarily registering and managing the content of inquiries made at each branch office. In response to an operation performed by a branch operator, a branch terminal 112 in each branch office displays a “reception registration and modification” screen 907 and receives input of a plurality of types of inquiry content information. The branch terminal 112 registers the inputted inquiry content information in the branch master table 124 via an internal network 110. In response to an operation performed by a branch operator, the branch terminal 112 displays an “inquiry content information transfer” screen 980 and transfers the inquiry content information inputted into the “reception registration and modification” screen 907 to a portable telephone 801 of a transmission receiving party inputted into the aforementioned screen 980.

  • Patent number: 7149530
Abstract: A device for presenting information on a mobile includes mobiles and terminals interconnected intercommunicably through communication means, wherein a terminal transmits, to the mobile concerned, mobile identification data on a mobile to which a request for mobile information is to be made, request content identification data representing the contents of mobile information to be requested, and terminal identification data on the terminal being the presentee to which the requested contents is to be presented. The mobile acquires mobile information requested by the terminal and sends it to the terminal being the presentee. The stored contents in storage means is updated each time operation of input for requesting information from a mobile is made through the terminal and the mobile acquires new mobile information. The updated stored contents is transmitted to the terminal being the requester when the terminal requests the updated stored contents.

  • Patent number: 6879910
Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to precisely monitor remotely located objects. The construction vehicles each contain a GPS apparatus, and various sensors for capturing the states of vehicle parts, and are capable of reporting, as required, the current position captured by the GPS apparatus, and operation information captured by the various sensors to the TMS mail server via the satellite communication system. The TMS mail server and the rental company system are capable of communicating at any time via a communication network between computers. The TMS mail server collects the latest positional information, operation information, and so forth, on the construction vehicles being rented and relays such information in the form of electronic mail, for example, to the rental company system as required or periodically.
