  • Patent number: 11199184
Abstract: A variable displacement swash plate compressor includes a displacement control valve that is configured to change crank chamber pressure, and an opening adjusting valve that adjusts an amount of refrigerant sucked into a suction chamber. The opening adjusting valve includes a valve case, a first valve element, a second valve element, and an urging spring. The valve case has a valve seat on which the second valve element is seated. The valve seat regulates movement of the second valve element toward the first valve element. A sealing member is provided between an inner peripheral surface of the valve case that defines a second valve chamber and an outer peripheral surface of the second valve element to prevent refrigerant in the second valve chamber so that leakage between a bleed passage and a control passage is prevented.

  • Patent number: 10815980
Abstract: A variable displacement swash plate type compressor includes a first and a second valve body, and a suction and a bleed window. An open degree of the suction window is minimized by the first valve body and an open degree of the bleed window is maximized by the second valve body when a suction pressure is lower than a predetermined suction pressure and a crank chamber pressure is higher than a control pressure. The open degree of the suction window is increased and the open degree of the bleed window is maximized when the suction pressure is higher than the predetermined suction pressure and the crank chamber pressure is higher than the control pressure. The open degree of the suction window and the open degree of the bleed window are decreased when the crank chamber pressure is lower than the control pressure.

  • Publication number: 20180128252
Abstract: A variable displacement swash plate type compressor includes a crank chamber, a suction chamber, a drive shaft, a swash plate, and a bleeding passage connecting the crank chamber and the suction chamber. The bleeding passage has an axial passage and first and second radial passages in the drive shaft. The second radial passage opens on an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft at a position that is closer to the swash plate than the first radial passage. The first radial passage is in constant communication with the crank chamber. The drive shaft has a valve member that is movable in the axial direction with the swash plate. The second radial passage is connected to the crank chamber when the swash plate is at maximum or minimum inclination angles and disconnected from the crank chamber by the valve member when the swash plate is at an intermediate inclination angle.

  • Patent number: 9670914
Abstract: In a check valve for a compressor, a valve element includes an abutting surface and an outer circumferential surface. A valve hole includes a large-diameter portion and a small-diameter portion. A communicating window has such a shape that an opening area thereof gradually becomes larger with increasing distance from a valve seat. The check valve has an open state, a fully closed state, and a buffering state. When the abutting surface separates from the large-diameter portion and the outer circumferential surface opens the communicating window, the open state is defined. When the abutting surface closes the large-diameter portion and the outer circumferential surface interrupts communication through the communicating window, the fully closed state is defined. When the abutting surface separates from the large-diameter portion and the outer circumferential surface interrupts communication through the communicating window, the buffering state is defined. The hunting phenomenon is suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20120301341
Abstract: A compressor includes a valve plate, a suction reed valve, and a seat surface. The valve plate has a suction port that communicates with a compression chamber and a suction chamber. The suction reed valve can open and close the suction port. The seat surface is formed on the valve plate, and is abutted with the suction reed valve when the suction reed valve closes the suction port. The seat surface includes a flat seal surface surrounding the suction port, and a groove surrounding the seal surface. The valve portion of the suction reed valve includes a flat sealing surface which is brought into close contact with the seal surface to close the suction port. The seat surface has a plurality of protrusions which space the seal surface from the sealing surface when the pressures of the compression chamber and the suction chamber are identical.
