  • Patent number: 7542176
Abstract: There is provided a reading/recording apparatus capable of ensuring that a reading device and a recording device do not collide when the apparatus is miniaturized to thereby protect the reading unit and the recording unit by having the reading device and the recording device share a moving space on a shared conveying path used as both a conveying for an original and a conveying for a recording sheet. The original is conveyed to a reading position on the shared conveying path. The reading unit is freely movable between the reading position and a reading standby position away from the reading position, and reads an image of the original at the reading position. The recording medium is conveyed to a recording position on the shared conveying path.

  • Publication number: 20060268375
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a recording apparatus in which the user photographs one scene of an entertainment or an event such as group tour, field day, or the like by a digital camera. Image data of the photographed images is stored into a memory card. When the user prints the image data from the memory card and distributes photo images to many persons, a burden of the operation to sort the photographs can be lightened without wastefully consuming the time. For this purpose, the user selects any one of the images stored in the memory card, inputs the number of prints of the selected image, and instructs the printing. Thereafter, the recording apparatus executes processes for setting a recording medium on which the last page of each print job has been recorded to a divider page of the print jobs in order of the instructed print jobs, reversing the recording medium to the back side, and discharging the medium.

  • Publication number: 20020080415
Abstract: In the case of forwarding data received via a circuit by electronic mail, it is possible to forward it to a plurality of forwarding destinations. In that case, it is possible to register a format on forwarding for each forwarding destination. For instance, when attaching received images to the electronic mail, whether to attach all the images or just one page, and an image format for the sake of attachment can be registered. In addition, it is possible, in the case where the data is received based on the ITU-T T. 37 recommendation, to register whether to delete an attachment file received and transmit only the text, transmit only the attachment file or transmit both the text and the attachment file. Moreover, a forwarding method in the case where the forwarding destination is a mobile terminal can also be registered.
