Abstract: A secure computer system and method is disclosed for providing an online platform whereby text messages are smartly shared with the intent to form social networks. The system allows easy and reliable transmission of mass text messages along with exchange of information to and from a myriad of contributory sources. Among other features, subscribers may choose the time and frequency of received smart messages of particular interest. Among other features, the system allows organizations, particularly educational institutions, to communicate on a widespread and timely basis. Advertising accounts are provided and users may customize the look and feel of smart messages.
