  • Publication number: 20200331388
Abstract: An image display system includes an image capturing unit that is to be mounted on a vehicle, and is configured to capture an image of surroundings of the vehicle, a display unit configured to display a captured image captured by the image capturing unit, a stationary object detection unit configured to detect a stationary object contained in the captured image and a position of the stationary object in the captured image, a determination unit configured to determine whether or not the position of the stationary object in the captured image has changed, based on a plurality of the captured images successively captured while the vehicle is traveling, and a notification unit configured to provide a notification if it is determined by the determination unit that the position of the stationary object has not changed.

  • Patent number: 10742851
Abstract: A captured image decision device includes a synchronizing signal extraction section extracting a vertical synchronizing signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal for use in displaying a captured image captured by a camera, a time measurement section measuring a pulse interval time period of the vertical synchronizing signal, a segment area setting section configured to divide a frame of the captured image displayed according to the pulse interval time period by a horizontal virtual line, thus setting a plurality of segment areas divided by the virtual line, a pulse number measurement section measuring a pulse number of the horizontal synchronizing signal corresponding to each segment area, and a decision section deciding whether an affirmation condition of the pulse number measured by the pulse number measurement section being equal to or greater than a predetermined value is satisfied or not.

  • Patent number: 10576823
Abstract: An image display system includes an image capturing unit that is to be mounted on a vehicle, and is configured to capture an image of surroundings of the vehicle, a display unit configured to display a captured image captured by the image capturing unit, an image-capturing range modification unit configured to modify an image-capturing range of the image capturing unit when the vehicle is stopped, a comparison unit configured to compare an image captured before the image-capturing range is modified by the image-capturing range modification unit with an image captured after the image-capturing range is modified by the image-capturing range modification unit, and calculate a difference value therebetween, and a determination unit configured to determine whether or not there is an abnormality in the image capturing unit based on the difference value.

  • Patent number: 9294733
Abstract: Provided is a driving assist apparatus that eases the driver's operational burden by superimposing a guide image on an image captured by a vehicle-mounted camera, with a simple system configuration. A captured image of the periphery of the vehicle captured by the vehicle-mounted camera is displayed on a display apparatus inside the vehicle as a display image superimposed with a guide image using a guide display, which is a graphics image containing a guide line. Predicted course lines, which are guide lines indicating predicted courses according to an actual steering angle of the vehicle in the captured image, are stored as a plurality of graphics images that have been generated in advance for every predetermined steering angle, in a storage portion that stores graphics images for forming guide displays. A graphics image of a predicted course line is acquired from the storage portion according to the actual steering angle of the vehicle, and is provided as a guide image.
