  • Patent number: 6605179
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for bonding optical disk substrates, includes placing a pair of optical disk substrates on a stage while securing a height difference at an upper face of the stage loading the substrates between an upper face at a side of a center of the substrates and an upper face at a side of an outer circumference of the substrates. The method and the apparatus also includes photosetting the adhesive layer on the stage by irradiating a setting light to the substrate pair, thereby photosetting the adhesive layer and bonding the substrates.

  • Patent number: 6514675
Abstract: An optical disk is provided by bonding two substrates to each using a radiation-hardening resin, and leveling and hardening the resin. In an optical recording medium manufacturing apparatus including lamps for emitting radiation to two disks attached to each other with a radiation-hardening resin layer sandwiched therebetween, and a rotation arm for supporting and rotating the two disks to allow the disks to traverse the emission area of the lamps, light source centers of the lamps are positioned radially outside a rotation locus of the center of the disks attached to each other, said locus being drawn while the disks are supported by the rotation arm.

  • Patent number: 6231705
Abstract: A method for laminating boards includes placing boards with a narrow gap therebetween, inserting an adhesive injection nozzle the gap, discharging of adhesive from the nozzle into the gap so that the discharged adhesive makes into contact with the two boards, continuing discharging the adhesive while the boards are being rotated in a planar direction thereof so that the adhesive is placed in a loop within the gap, retreating the nozzle from the gap, and narrowing the gap between the boards so that the adhesive is spread throughout the gap.

  • Patent number: 6231706
Abstract: Substrates to be paired are alternately aligned. One substrate of a pair of substrates adjacent to each other is turned over thereby to face the other substrate, and the substrates held in a state facing each other are sent to a bonding position. An adhesive is supplied annularly into an interval of the substrates, and the substrates are rotated in a planar direction to thereby narrow the interval and eventually spread the adhesive in a radial direction to form an adhesive layer. The lower substrate is supported from below and carried from the bonding position to a setting position, and the adhesive layer is set, whereby an optical disk is obtained. The optical disk is taken out from the setting position.

  • Patent number: 4972917
Abstract: A carriage conveying apparatus has a loaded carriage to be conveyed, and a driving vehicle for coupling, towing and conveying the carriage from below the carriage. Since the vertical load of the carriage is transmitted to the driving vehicle, controlled to a proper magnitude, the driving vehicle may be reduced in size and weight, and it is also possible to have stable travel if the carriage is empty. By designing all three wheels so as to be driven and steered, sideways and spin-turn motions are realized. By providing recognition marks and detecting means, it is possible to position the driving vehicle accurately if the setting position of the carriage deviates.

  • Patent number: 4778024
Abstract: An automatic guided vehicle having three wheels consisting a front wheel and a pair of rear wheels and being capable of travelling along a track formed on a floor by a white line or aluminum foil while detecting the track by means of an optical type track sensor. The front wheel of this vehicle can be turned relative to a main body of the vehicle in response to a steering operation and can be locked in the lateral direction. The position of the pair of rear wheels can be symmetrically changed from a paralleled state to an orthogonal state relative to the center line of the main body to be maintained in these states, thereby enabling the main body to turn or laterally travel with radii of gyration determined in accordance with turning angles of the rear wheels relative to the main body on the basis of the relative turning and driving operations of the front and rear wheels.
