Abstract: The resolution of the problem is achieved by performing a first determination process in which when request information is received, validity of the request information is determined on the basis of identification information of the interface included in the request information and a second determination process in which validity of the request information is determined on the basis of key information or authentication token information for an interface included in the request information and that permits a user who made the application to utilize the interface or the authentication token information that determines the validity of the user; and transmitting to a transmission source of the request information and regardless of a result of the first determination process, error information indicating that an access is not allowed when the request information is determined to be not valid as a result of the second determination process.

Abstract: An application providing method includes steps of, after registering a packaged application in which files included in an application are packaged, extracting the packaged application such that the packaged application is separated from other packaged applications for each host, converting, in accordance with an execution platform of the packaged application, the extracted content to content for a web browser, and, when an application acquisition request including a host name is received from the web browser, providing content that belongs to the host indicated by the host name included in the application acquisition request.

Abstract: A data transmission control apparatus controls data transmission between a first wireless network and a second wireless network. According to one embodiment, the data transmission control apparatus comprises a wireless communication device that uses an identifier for identifying a wireless network as an access object and a device driver to control the wireless communication device. The device driver switches the identifier, which is used by the wireless communication device, between a first identifier for identifying the first wireless network and a second identifier for identifying the second wireless network.

Abstract: When a user accesses an original server using a user PC, a router in a center receives a user access request, and transmits it to a reception and authentication server, and inquires of a CDN management server whether or not the request can be accepted. When the CDN management server 1 determines that the user access request can be accepted, it detects a splitter/cache server geographically closest to the user PC, and passes a one-time password to the splitter/cache server. The user PC uses the one-time password to access the splitter/cache server, and successfully accesses the target contents.

Abstract: An identifier managing device is used in a software distribution system in which software programs are distributed to distribution terminals from a distribution center through a network, for managing information including identifiers of the distribution terminals. A host computer in the distribution center sells the software programs corresponding to the request from users at the distribution terminals, each of which is assigned a terminal identifier and a terminal password. Each of the users is assigned a user identifier and a user password. A distribution identifier is written in the software programs before the software programs are sold, and the host computer manages the history of the distribution of the software using these identifiers and the passwords. The terminal password is rewritten whenever the terminal accesses the host computer for preventing illegal duplications of the software programs at the users end.

Abstract: Remote installation system and method for enabling a user to obtain any software through a communication line and automatically install it without taking a long time and requiring labor. A host computer transmits first and second key tables and to a terminal and a display displays keywords, included in these tables on a screen. The user selects keywords, which correspond to his target software, on the screen and the host computer sends a list of software, which corresponds to the keywords he selected, to the terminal. He selects his target software prom the list which is informed to the host computer. The host computer selects it from a software group and stores it on a hard disk of the terminal through a communication line, after checking its operation circumstances using a circumstance file. It is automatically registered in the system and its drive icon is displayed in a storage window.
