  • Patent number: 10470873
Abstract: An intraocular lens 1 includes a lens 2 and a haptic 3 connected to the lens 2. The lens 2 is disposed behind an iris 7 in an eye of a patient. The haptic 3 has a main body 3a and first and second projections 3d and 3e. The main body 3a extends from the lens 2 outward in a radial direction about a visual axis C of the patient. The first and second projections 3d and 3e are located so as to project from the main body 3a toward spaces between a plurality of ciliary zonules 10 connecting a crystalline lens 11 and a ciliary body 8 in the eye. Accordingly, an intraocular lens and a haptic for an intraocular lens that are able to inhibit the position of a lens from being displaced are provided.

  • Patent number: 9326845
Abstract: Provided are an intraocular implant, an intraocular implant set, and an intraocular lens in which the intraocular lens is easily replaced compared to the related art. A support structure is a portion which is used to dispose an intraocular lens (a lens) (in a rear section) inside an eye and is formed separately from the lens. When the lens is attached to the support structure, a configuration is formed which is the same as that of the existing intraocular lens including a lens serving as an eye lens extracted due to the cataract or the like and a portion supporting the lens into an eye. The support structure and the lens may be integrated with each other inside the eye. An embodiment in which only the lens is replaced while the support structure is fixed into the eye and which is not present in the related art can be realized.

  • Patent number: 7858009
Abstract: An aqueous sericin solution and a polar organic solvent are mixed together to prepare a sericin-containing solution, then the sericin-containing solution is added into a synthetic resin solution, followed by drying, to produce an synthetic leather wherein sericin is present as discrete particles of not larger than 3 ?m in diameter within the synthetic resin of a skin layer almost uniformly at least 1.0×106 particles per square centimeter. The skin layer of the synthetic leather has a soft and moist touch like that of the natural leather and is superior in moisture absorbing and releasing properties and further superior in processing stability.
