  • Publication number: 20210033141
Abstract: A dust cover attaches to a ball joint, and includes a body portion, a fixed portion, a seal portion, and a neck portion. The body portion includes a first body section having a minimum thickness T1, a second body section having a minimum thickness T2 that is 1.9 times or more the minimum thickness T1, and a bent section. The fixed portion is arranged on a first end side of the body portion and fastened to the socket. The seal portion is formed only of an elastic material and arranged on a second end side of the body portion, and can slide relative to the shaft portion and the knuckle. The neck portion, arranged between the body portion and the seal portion, allows the seal portion to tilt relative to the body portion. The body portion, the fixed portion, the seal portion, and the neck portion are integrally formed as a unitary component.

  • Patent number: 10502257
Abstract: A dust cover that allows a dust lip part thereof to offer sealing performance stably for a long period of time. A sealing part 130 includes an inner peripheral sealing part that can slide relative to an outer peripheral surface of a shaft part, and a dust lip part 132 that can slide relative to an end surface of a knuckle 400, wherein an annular protrusion 135 that protrudes radially outward is formed at an end of the sealing part 130 on the other end side, and at least one of inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the dust lip part 132 extends toward the other end side from recessed parts 132a and 132b of the sealing part 130 being recessed toward one end side with respect to an end surface 135a of the annular protrusion 135 on the other end side.

  • Patent number: 6084524
Abstract: A detection switch for enabling the setup sensitivity of the switch to be checked without lowering the movement speed of an object to be detected. A light reception section outputs a light reception signal RS corresponding to a light reception amount. A detection section amplifies the light reception signal RS and converts the amplified light reception signal RS from analog to digital form, then outputs the digital signal as light reception data RD indicating the light reception amount. A hold time control section 5 gives a hold timing signal HT defining a hold period to a hold circuit. The hold circuit holds the peak value or bottom value of the light reception data RD every hold period and outputs the hold value to a control section each time the end of the hold period is reached. The control section causes a display section to display the hold value.
