  • Publication number: 20100155382
Abstract: A surface machining method to be adopted when machining a valve mechanism component member is provided so as to manufacture a product assuring a specific pulsation-reducing effect over an extended period of time with a high level of reliability. A plurality of recesses 60 are formed through laser machining over an area (seat surface 51) at a valve plate 2 around an suction port 24, which comes into contact with an suction valve 30, or an area of the suction valve 30 that comes into contact with the valve plate 2. Projections 61 may also be formed through laser machining around the recesses 60. Such projections 61 should be formed so as to assure hardness greater than the hardness of the other areas through radiation of laser light.

  • Publication number: 20040062660
Abstract: In a clutchless variable capacity swash plate compressor including a shaft 5 rotatably supported within a housing, a swash plate 10 tiltably mounted on the shaft 5, for rotation in unison therewith, and a discharge passage D via which refrigerant gas delivered from compression chambers 6a to a discharge chamber 12 is sent out of the compressor, a discharge check valve 130 having a valve-closing pressure lower than a valve-opening pressure is provided in the discharge passage D.

  • Publication number: 20040052648
Abstract: A compressor capable of damping the suction pulsation or discharge pulsation thereof with a simple structure, wherein either of a suction chamber and a discharge chamber formed at the center of a rear head is allowed to communicate with a corresponding port through a tunnel-shaped communication path and a muffler space is formed between the tunnel-shaped communication path and a pipe connection part for connecting the port thereto, whereby, when the communication path allows the suction chamber to communicate with the pipe connection part of the suction port, the suction pulsation can be suppressed or prevented and, when the communication path allows the discharge chamber to communicate with the pipe connection part of the discharge port, the discharge pulsation can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 5593297
Abstract: In a scroll type compressor, a simple structure provides oil intake assistance to ensure that lubricating oil in an oil space is induced into a spiral groove in correspondence to the rotation rate of a drive shaft. The drive shaft is provided with an inclined spiral groove which is formed in the external circumferential surface of the drive shaft. The drive shaft slides in contact with a main bearing. A leading end of the spiral groove, in the direction of the rotation of the drive shaft, communicates with the oil space and a trailing end of the spiral groove opens into the lubricating oil reservoir. The lubricating oil is supplied to the area where the drive shaft slides in contact with the main bearing by the spiral groove. Also, upon rotation of the drive shaft, intake of lubricating oil into the spiral groove is assisted when the suction force is reduced due to a high rotation rate.
