  • Patent number: 11164472
Abstract: An audio learning system, which is applied to a vehicle and provides a learning content to a user staying in the vehicle in audio manner, includes: a learning element storage unit storing multiple learning elements; an in-vehicle duration estimation unit estimating an in-vehicle duration during which the user is in the vehicle; a learning program generation unit generating one batch of a learning program to be completed within the in-vehicle duration estimated by the in-vehicle duration estimation unit by combining the plurality of learning elements; and an execution unit executing the learning program. When a driving load estimated by a driving load estimation unit is higher than a predetermined load, the learning program generation unit generates the learning program to mainly include the learning elements that have been executed.

  • Publication number: 20200262442
Abstract: A state determination device for a driver state of a movable body includes: a behavior acquisition section for behavior information of the movable body; a check section that sets a threshold region where the behavior information relating to a careless driving of the movable body is distributed, the threshold region having two or more stages of a determination region, and checks current behavior information with a set stage of the determination region; a determination section that determines a careless driving when the current behavior information is included in the set stage; a time acquisition section that acquires an elapsed time from a driving start of the movable body; and a change section that changes the set stage to another stage having a higher possibility of determination of the careless driving when a careless time is equal to or less than a predefined threshold.

  • Patent number: 9719795
Abstract: A navigation device includes a travel road specification portion acquiring a current location of a vehicle and specifying a travel road actually traveled by the vehicle, a continuity determination portion determining an existence of a continuity between the travel road and a first road connected to an end point of the travel road, and an extension road designation portion. The end point of the travel road is defined as a reference end point, the travel road is defined as a reference road, and the first road is defined as a determination target road. The extension road designation portion designates the first road as a first extension road when the continuity determination portion determines that the continuity exists between the first road and the travel road.

  • Patent number: 9689689
Abstract: A navigation device is provided, which includes a retrieval section that retrieves a route to a destination, and a storage device that stores a traveled road as a recognized road and stores an extension road as a recognized road. The traveled road is a road actually traveled by a vehicle. The extension road is a road continuous with the traveled road. The retrieval section includes a selection section. When multiple routes each to the destination are retrieved, the selection section selects a route from among the multiple routes based on a distance of an unrecognized road, a travel time taken to travel the unrecognized road, or a connection condition of the unrecognized road. The unrecognized road is a road other than the recognized road stored in the storage device.

  • Patent number: 9297667
Abstract: When a search condition is supplied, a road name drawing process acquires a target road name corresponding to a search target spot. The road name drawing process searches a plurality of display map datasets for character data corresponding to a plurality of scales and acquires a scale for a display map dataset whose character data contains the corresponding target road name. The road name drawing process performs a map drawing process using that scale. Namely, the process draws a map containing the search target spot so as to display the target road name corresponding to the search target spot. For this purpose, the process previously searches a plurality of display map datasets for character data and uses the display map dataset whose scale allows the character data to contain the target road name.

  • Patent number: 9097543
Abstract: A road information update system comprising a navigation apparatus and an information center is disclosed. The navigation apparatus collects a travel trace when traveling a new road not present in a road map data, and sends the collected travel trace to the information center. The information center compares multiple road map data to extract a new road and an abandoned road, and generates multiple road change models based on the abandoned road and the new road. The information center receives the travel trace in the new road from the navigation apparatus, and estimates the new road and the abandoned road based on the received travel trace in the new road and the road change models.

  • Publication number: 20150088415

  • Patent number: 7693655
Abstract: In a navigation system, a current position is designated as a center of a start-point area. A category of a spot, e.g., a point of interest, is designated. Feature information of a spot within the start-point area then appears on a display device as initially provided information to a user with respect to the spot. This feature information allows the user to easily perceive the feature of the spot. The user only needs operation up to designating the category and can easily determine whether the spot is an intended one by perceiving its feature.

  • Publication number: 20090170108
Abstract: (Problems) The main object of the present invention is to provide a screening method for selecting a substance affecting a bond between thioredoxin and MIF. (Means for Solving Problems) The present invention provides a screening method for selecting a test substance which strengthens a bond between a polypeptide of a thioredoxin family and a macrophage migration inhibition factor, comprising: mixing a test substance with at least one binding substance selected from following (1) to (4), (1) the polypeptide belonging to the thioredoxin family, (2) a protein having an amino acid sequence of the polypeptide belonging to the thioredoxin family in which one or more amino acid is deleted, replaced or added, and having an equivalent activity to the polypeptide of the thioredoxin family, (3) a gene coding (1), (4) a gene coding (2); bonding the binding substance to the macrophage migration inhibition factor; and monitoring the bond state between the binding substance and the macrophage migration inhibition factor.

  • Publication number: 20070111267
Abstract: A method of determining the efficacy of anticancer drug whereby accurate determination can be realized; and a determination kit therefor. In the determination of the efficacy of anticancer drugs, especially a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, Jab1 protein is used as an index of determination and the form of existence of Jab1 protein is checked. As the form of existence there can be mentioned Jab1 small complex of 120 kDa molecular weight, and the type having sensitivity to the efficacy of anticancer drug can be accurately determined by checking the expression of p27 protein.

  • Publication number: 20070032948
Abstract: In an automobile navigation system, one of search conditions including a category search, an address search, or the like is selected by a user to specify a destination for computing a guided route from a present position. Next, an additional search condition to search for spots existing within a predetermined range with the present position at the center is confirmed without need of an operation of the user. Then spots that meet the search condition selected by the user and the confirmed additional search condition are searched for. For this reason, spots to be detected after the search are limited to any of spots existing within the predetermined range with the present position at the center. Thus, it is possible for the user to specify the user's desired spot as the destination around the present position without specifying an area or the like as a search condition.
