Abstract: A business improvement support apparatus includes an achievement level calculation unit which calculates an achievement level in accordance with each of a plurality of evaluation indexes with respect to business in a predetermined period. A satisfaction level calculation unit calculates a customer satisfaction level with respect to the same evaluation index as the evaluation index in accordance with which the achievement level is calculated by the achievement level calculation unit. A detection unit detects a gap between the achievement level calculated by the achievement level calculation unit and the customer satisfaction level calculated by the satisfaction level calculation unit. A decision unit sets a target value in accordance with the evaluation index corresponding to the gap detected by the detection unit, and decides on specific itemized target values relevant to the evaluation index from the target values set in accordance with the evaluation index.
