  • Patent number: 8604154
Abstract: A water-soluble or water-dispersible carbodiimide compound is hydrophilicized by incorporating methyl glycolate or methyl lactate, which serves a moiety similar to the moiety which aqueous urethane resin, aqueous acrylic resin, or the like possesses, into an end of a starting carbodiimide compound. The invention provides a carbodiimide compound and a carbodiimide composition, which, when added as a cross-linking agent to aqueous resin, can enhance water resistance, solvent resistance, and adhesion of the resin, while maintaining the conventionally attained pot life, and an aqueous coating composition containing the carbodiimide compound or composition.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 17, 2009
Date of Patent: December 10, 2013
    Assignee: Nisshinbo Holdings Inc.
Inventors: Ikuo Takahashi, Kenichi Yanagisawa, Noriko Osuga
  • Publication number: 20110045042
Abstract: A nanofiber structure having pores is used as a preservative material for a liquid material. A liquid material can be stored for a long period without causing deterioration and without the need of using any additive such as an anti-bacterial agent merely by contacting the liquid material with the preservative material.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 30, 2009
    Publication date: February 24, 2011
    Applicant: NISSHINBO HOLDINGS INC.
