  • Patent number: 6453933
Abstract: A container valve (2) comprises a housing (3) within which a fluid inlet (5) communicates with a fluid outlet (7) via a valve seat (9) and a valve chamber (10). A closure member (15) is inserted into the valve chamber (10). A spindle (17) is inserted into a guide hole (14) which communicates with the valve chamber (10). The closure member (15) is connected to a handle (18) through the spindle (17). The handle (18) enables the closure member (15) to operate for opening and closing with respect to the valve seat (9). An annular scraper (21) is attached between the closure member (15) and a peripheral wall of the valve chamber (10). The annular scraper (21) has a lip (21a) whose inner peripheral surface is brought into contact with an outer peripheral surface of the closure member (15). A sealing member (23) is attached between the closure member (15) and the guide hole (14).

  • Patent number: 5738145
Abstract: A gas inlet (4) an inlet passage (8), a stop valve (7), an outlet passage (9) and a gas outlet (5) are communicated orderly with one another within a valve casing (3). The outlet passage (9) is communicated with the inlet passage (8) through a gas charging passage (10). A check valve (11) for blocking a flow from the inlet passage (8) to the outlet passage (9) is arranged in the gas charging passage (10). When a vacant gas cylinder (1) is charged with a high-pressure gas, the charge gas is supplied to a gas charging mouthpiece (17) connected to the gas outlet (5) while the stop valve (7) is kept closed. Thereupon, an interior space (A) of the gas cylinder (1) is charged with the charge gas from the outlet (5) through the check valve (11) and the gas inlet (4) in order.

  • Patent number: 4928919
Abstract: There are provided coned disc springs and an intermediate transmission member in order between a thrust threaded member for generating the valve closing thrust and a valve body, and the intermediate transmission member is adapted to be urged by means of the coned disc springs toward the valve closing side with respect to the thrust threaded member. A contact receiving means is so arranged as to limit the movement of the thrust threaded member toward the valve closing side, and a contact receiving position of the contact receiving means is set at a midway position of the compression range of the coned disc springs. Wherein, the handle is adapted to be changed over between the handle held condition and the handle released condition by the relative movement of the intermediate transmission member with respect to the thrust threaded member.

  • Patent number: 4341245
Abstract: A gas-inlet attachment includes an air-tightly sealed pressure differentiator in the mouthpiece of a gas charger, wherein the pressure differentiator includes a valve-opener slidably and air-tightly connectable to the check valve in the cock with a pressure differentiating space interposed therebetween, thereby enabling the check valve to be biased in its opening direction under the differentiated pressure provided by the pressure differentiator.
