  • Patent number: 9121406
Abstract: A scroll compressor in which a paired fixed scroll and rotating scroll each having a spiral wrap provided upright on an end plate are engaged to form a compression chamber and in which a discharge port that discharges fluid compressed in the compression chamber is provided at the central portion of the fixed scroll, wherein the discharge port has a deformed elongated hole shape having circular holes at both ends, and the circular holes at both ends are connected by two surfaces the width between which is smaller than the hole diameters of the circular holes.

  • Patent number: 8714950
Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that can reliably prevent a situation in which a product whose performance is degraded due to misassembly of a tip seal is shipped. In the scroll compressor, tip seals of different lengths are embedded in tip surfaces of a fixed spiral wrap of a fixed scroll and an orbiting spiral wrap of an orbiting scroll. Among the tip seals, thicknesses of the shorter tip seals are made thicker than thicknesses of the longer tip seals, and depths of seal grooves in which the tip seals are embedded, respectively, are formed to different depths in correspondence with the thicknesses of the respective tip seals.

  • Patent number: 8308461
Abstract: To provide a scroll compressor capable of reducing a noise occurring in a pin-and-ring type self rotation preventing mechanism and improving compression performance. In a scroll compressor comprising: a fixed scroll member and a revolving scroll member; a driven crank mechanism for driving the revolving scroll member to revolutionary turn; and a pin-and-ring type self rotation preventing mechanism provided in plural places for preventing self rotation of a revolving scroll member, at least one of the self rotation preventing pin, the self rotation preventing ring and the self rotation preventing ring hole, which form the pin-and-ring type self rotation preventing mechanism, is provided with an orbit correction part for reducing a maximum displacement R in a direction of self rotation of the revolving scroll member to smooth a change of an orbit of the revolving scroll member in changing a pin and a ring in a section of prevention of self rotation by means of a corresponding pin and ring part.

  • Patent number: 7604465
Abstract: There is provided a fluid machine able to secure a sectional area of a passage sufficient for gaseous fluid flow from a suction port to a compression mechanism, while able at the same time to achieve a reduction in size of the outline shape. In a scroll compressor where a scroll compression mechanism is housed within a housing having a funnel shaped, a compression mechanism main body of the scroll compression mechanism is arranged in a wide opening section of a front housing, and a compression mechanism driving section is arranged in a narrow section, a concave section is formed on the outside of a thrust receiving surface which is positioned on a bottom surface of the wide opening section and which supports the compression mechanism.
