    Abstract: Provided is a surface treatment agent for an ophthalmic device that can impart wettability and lubricity to the surface of a silicone hydrogel, more specifically, a surface treatment agent for an ophthalmic device that can subject the silicone hydrogel to surface treatment even when the silicone hydrogel is not caused to present any specific complementary functional group.
