Patent number: 8534337Abstract: A high frequency sewing machine for intermittently transferring a work material mounted on a work material mounting plate by means of feed dogs which perform synthetic circular movement in horizontal and vertical directions and which cooperate with a presser foot to effect the continuous bonding of the overlapped portions of a fiber cloth which are continuously bonded together by means of a thermoplastic resin tape held between the overlapped portions of the fiber cloth in the work material to melt under high frequency dielectric heating. High frequency power is applied between a pair of planar electrodes respectively disposed above and below the work material during the time when the transfer by these feed dogs is stopped to effect the melting process. The occurrence of defective products having burn or the like due to heat concentration can be prevented while obtaining assured uniform bonding strength by using the high frequency power.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2010Date of Patent: September 17, 2013Assignee: Yamato Sewing Machine Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Norio Nakata, Masaki Okamoto, Itsuo Sakai

Publication number: 20130059991Abstract: A stereoselective olefin polymerization catalyst contains a complex represented by Formula (1): wherein n is 2 or 3; R1 and R2 are independently an optionally substituted alkyl group or a halogen atom; L is a ligand represented by CH2R3, a halogen atom, OR4, or NR5R6; R3 is a hydrogen atom, an aromatic group, or a trialkylsilyl group; R4 is a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R5 and R6 are independently a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. A method for manufacturing stereoselective polyolefin, includes polymerizing an olefin in the presence of the catalyst. The present invention provides a catalyst which enables highly isoselective polymerization generating a polymer having significantly high molecular weight and also can prepare stereoselective polyolefin with a narrow dispersity (Mw/Mn) or with a sharp molecular weight distribution, and provides a method for manufacturing stereoselective polyolefin with the catalyst.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2011Publication date: March 7, 2013Applicants: SUMITOMO CHEMICAL COMPANY, LIMITED, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY CORPORATION SAITAMA UNIVERSITYInventors: Akihiko Ishii, Norio Nakata, Tomoyuki Toda, Tsukasa Matsuo

Publication number: 20130035462Abstract: A catalyst for homopolymerization of ethylene or copolymerization of ethylene and an ?-olefin comprises a complex represented by Formula (1): wherein n is 2 or 3; R1 and R2 are independently an optionally substituted alkyl group or a halogen atom; L is a ligand represented by CH2R3, a halogen atom, OR4, or NR5R6; R3 is a hydrogen atom, an aromatic group, or a trialkylsilyl group; R4 is a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R5 and R6 are independently a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. A method for manufacturing an ethylenic polymer involves homopolymerization of ethylene or copolymerization of ethylene and an ?-olefin in the presence of the catalyst. The present invention provides a highly active tetradentate post-metallocene complex for ethylenic polymerization and a method for manufacturing the ethylenic polymer using the catalyst containing the complex.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2011Publication date: February 7, 2013Applicants: SUMITOMO CHEMICAL COMPANY, LIMITED, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY CORPORATION SAITAMA UNIVERSITYInventors: Akihiko Ishi, Norio Nakata, Tomoyuki Toda

Patent number: 7347153Abstract: A thread supplying device includes a rotator feeding a thread downstream of a thread supply path, the rotator winding a periphery thereof the thread several times and locating in the path extending from a thread supply part to a needle and loopers, a stepping motor continuously drivingly rotating in one way the rotator in synchronism with the main shaft of a sewing machine, thread feed setting means setting a unit thread feeding amount necessary for formation of seams per stitch, and control means automatically controlling the rotation of the motor to feed the unit thread feeding amount set by the setting means for each formation of seams per stitch. This device can stably supply a predetermined amount of the unit thread, and achieve stabilization of stitch performance, irrespective of the type of the thread, and whether the feed of a fabric increases or decreases by a rapid change in the rotational speed of the sewing machine.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2006Date of Patent: March 25, 2008Assignee: Yamato Sewing Machine Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Norio Nakata, Hiromichi Kurata, Takayoshi Masaoka

Patent number: 6308647Abstract: An interlock stitch sewing machine for blindstitch hemming with a slippage preventing device is provided which is so constructed as to prevent slippage that is likely to occur due to a position error of a lower fabric portion of the fabric portions stacked by a top-stitching at the fabric end, or a locally deformed portion due to a cutting error, in the blindstitch hemming of a tubular article such as T-shirts or underwear. A top-stiching width guide and a fabric edge guide are oppositely disposed in front of a needle location. A slippage detecting sensor that detects the edge position of the lower fabric portion to detect the presence of slippage, is attached to the fabric edge guide. When the slippage quantity detected by the sensor exceeds a permissible slippage quantity, it is determined there is possibility of slippage, and an informing means is operated.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2000Date of Patent: October 30, 2001Assignee: Yamato Sewing Machine Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masato Okabe, Norio Nakata, Hiromichi Kurata, Takayoshi Masaoka, Itsuo Sakai

Patent number: 6095071Abstract: Provided is a faulty sewing detector that is, for example, mounted on an overlock sewing machine, with which an over-edge chain stitch is made in a state in which a body fabric and a sleeve fabric of a T shirt or underwear are overlapped with each other. The detector comprises a fabric twisting detecting sensor that detects a fabric twisting by determining the number of overlap of fabrics sewed which is disposed at a position corresponding to the fabric sewing area of a needle, and, behind a needle location in a sewing direction; a faulty sewing judging means that compares a fabric twisting quantity detected by the sensor, with a preset permissible fabric twisting quantity, to judge it as faulty sewing when the former exceeds the latter; and an informing means that is activated when judged as faulty sewing.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 1999Date of Patent: August 1, 2000Assignee: Yamato Sewing Machine Seizo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Toshihiko Kozima, Norio Nakata, Hiromichi Kurata, Takayoshi Masaoka

Patent number: 5522329Abstract: A band feeding device feeds a selected one of a plurality of band-type materials (e.g. cloth tape, rubber) to a sewing machine for sewing to a ring-shaped garment such as, for example, the waist or crotch of a pair of trousers or briefs. One of a plurality of secondary rollers is moved to pinch its respective band between itself and a main roller. All other secondary rollers are moved away from the main roller, so that only the selected band is fed. This permits changing the type of band material being fed to the sewing machine without requiring the operator to remove and reinstall band materials each time. The number of elements in the overall device remains small, thus providing an inexpensive and compact device.Type: GrantFiled: January 23, 1995Date of Patent: June 4, 1996Assignee: Yamato Sewing Machine Mfg. Co, Ltd.Inventor: Norio Nakata
