  • Publication number: 20220334093
Abstract: Provided is a method for determining origin of carbon source of chemical substance, which makes it possible to determine whether resource-recycled carbon is used as a carbon raw material from a chemical substance in various goods. The method for determining origin of carbon source of chemical substance includes: a step S1 of acquiring a carbon-14 content rate R1 of a standard chemical substance having carbon element in which carbon has been recycled as a resource; a step S2 of acquiring a carbon-14 content rate R2 of a chemical substance to be identified; a step S3 of calculating a ratio (R2/R1) of the content rate R2 to the content rate R1; and a step S4 of determining that a carbon raw material in the chemical substance to be identified contains resource-recycled carbon based on the ratio (R2/R1).

  • Patent number: 5620796
Abstract: A method of producing an acrylic emulsion adhesive characterized in that a composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a monomeric mixture of alkyl (meth)acrylate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and N-vinylpyrrolidone, 0.5-2 parts by weight of a surfactant mixture of an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant, and 0.03 to 0.5 part by weight of a polymerization initiator is subjected to emulsion polymerization reaction. The acrylic emulsion adhesive of this invention is rich in solids, features good adhesion and cohesion as well as high water resistance. Therefore, by coating one side of a transparent support, this adhesive can be used as an adhesive sheet for surface protection.

  • Patent number: 4819272
Abstract: An intermittently driven transmitter having high power output which is driven intermittently so as to transmit a signal via, for example, a satellite in which the voltage supplied to the transmitter is boosted and supplied to a capacitor. When the signal is to be transmitted, the voltage stored on the capacitor is supplied to a constant voltage circuit which generates a constant voltage which is higher than the voltage supplied to the transmitter and which is supplied to a power amplifier in the final stage of the transmitter and, thus, the intermittent type transmitter with a suitable battery drive system is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4720855
Abstract: In a telephone apparatus used for a telephone system such that the telephone set is connected to a remote destination telephone set through telephone circuits after an ID number of a subscriber has been transmitted to the telephone company, the handset comprises a key entry section including plural dial keys, a memory section for storing the ID number and destination telephone numbers, a display section for displaying a destination telephone number corresponding to an operated dial key, and a control section for enabling a display of the ID number when the ID number is written but disabling a display of the ID number when read. Since the ID number is not displayed while being read to transmit it to the telephone company, the ID number of the subscriber is kept secret from others.

  • Patent number: 4650928
Abstract: A cordless telephone comprises a base unit and a plurality of remote units. The remote units are respectively adapted to establish radio communication at separate times with the base unit. Each remote unit generates a particular code in a particular format that includes at least one interval in which the particular code is present and at least one interval from which the particular code is absent. The particular code and particular format of each remote unit are different from those of the other remote units. A transmitter in each remote unit transmits the particular code of that unit in the particular format thereof to the base unit. The particular formats are such that the transmission of each particular code periodically corresponds to non-transmission of all of the other particular codes of the remote units. The particular codes can thus periodically be received by the base unit without interference caused by transmission of the other particular codes.

  • Patent number: 4535470
Abstract: Decoding or demodulating circuitry can produce stereo right channel and left channel signals from AM stereo signals that have been coded according to any of the well known methods. A stereo sum signal made up of the left and right channel stereo signals added together, and a stereo difference signal made up of the difference between the stereo left and right channel signals are developed and fed to a matrix to interconnect these signals to extract or separate the left and right channel stereo signals. At least one of the known methods of stereo coding requires phase shifting of these two developed signals and suitable phase shift circuitry, along with a switching circuit provides the matrix with the appropriate signals when that method of stereo coding is employed at the broadcast side.

  • Patent number: 4479234
Abstract: In a radio receiver including a demodulating circuit with monaural and stereophonic modes for respectively demodulating a monaural broadcast signal having a carrier amplitude modulated with a monaural signal and demodulating an AM stereophonic broadcast signal having a carrier modulated with the sum and difference of right- and left-channel stereophonic signals and with a relatively low frequency pilot signal, and a tuning section operable for tuning the receiver to receive a broadcast signal whose carrier has a selected frequency; a filter is effective to extract the pilot signal from the received broadcast signal when the latter is an AM stereophonic broadcast signal and the stereophonic mode of the demodulating circuit is established in response to the extracted pilot signal, a disturbance signal generated upon operation of the tuning section or in response to external noise and which is in a frequency range near to the frequency of the pilot signal so as to be possibly extracted with the latter, and there

  • Patent number: 4358638
Abstract: Apparatus for receiving an AM stereophonic signal of the type having monaural information represented by amplitude modulations of a signal carrier and stereophonic information represented by phase modulations of the signal carrier. A reference signal generator generates a reference signal that is synchronized with the signal carrier of the received AM stereophonic signal. In one embodiment, the reference signal generator is a phase-locked loop which generates a reference carrier whose frequency is substantially equal to the signal carrier frequency and whose phase is locked to a predetermined signal carrier phase. An amplitude limiter limits the AM stereophonic signal to remove amplitude modulations of the signal carrier and thereby produce an amplitude-limited signal carrier. A demodulator demodulates the information represented by the AM stereophonic signal, and a detector is provided to detect if the stereophonic information will be properly demodulated.
