  • Patent number: 11869358
Abstract: System and method for providing a warning to a motorist of the presence of a mobile target in an area, when at least one projected path of the motor vehicle intersects at least one projected target path. A sensor obtains an image of the area and passes the image to a data processing unit. The data processing unit comprises an image analysis module that is used to analyze the image to detect the presence of a target, such as a bicycle, in the area. The image analysis module uses artificial intelligence methods to analyze the image. When a mobile target is detected in the area, a signal is generated and passed to a display unit. The display unit then displays a visible warning of the presence of the target to the motorist. In one embodiment, the area includes a blind spot of a motor vehicle operated by the motorist.

  • Patent number: 11055987
Abstract: Systems and methods that provide indications that incoming traffic is present. A display deployed at an intersection is visible to traffic coming from one direction. The display is activated when a sensor senses traffic coming from another direction. The activated display provides a moving or animated display that shows the direction that traffic is coming from.

  • Patent number: 6913822
Abstract: The present invention concerns a cable erection technique using a plastically deformable coil comprising a metal wire formed in a spiral shape and synthetic resin coated on a surface of the metal wire, wherein said coil is inserted outside around a tensile line drawn between utility poles, the coil is elongated until its plastic deformation for forming a series of cable arrangement spaces inside the spiral, and a cable is extended, added or extracted through the cable arrangement space.

  • Publication number: 20030020056
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for building an overhead infrastructure capable of minimizing loads to utility poles, increasing suspension spaces on the utility poles, decreasing costs for constructing the overhead infrastructure, and improving an appearance and maintenance workability thereof. The method comprises a step of drawing a tensile line between utility poles, a step of putting around the tensile line a plastically deformable coil having a metal wire formed in a spiral shape and synthetic resin coated on a surface of the metal wire, a step of elongating the coil until its plastic deformation so as to form a basic construction with a series of overhead cableway capable of holding a plurality of overhead lines inside the spiral of the coil, and a step of extending an overhead line in an empty space of the overhead cableway on demand.
