  • Patent number: 10239560
Abstract: There is provided a vehicle subframe (1) in which a projecting portion (24, 31) of a front member (20) extends upward, while projecting from a body portion in a width direction, to have an upper end (25, 32), and exhibits a convex shape toward a front side, with the upper end (25, 32) functioning as a front attachment portion to a vehicle body, in such a manner that support stiffness of a suspension can be improved, while ensuring favorable productivity, high strength, and the like, with a simple configuration.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 9, 2014
Date of Patent: March 26, 2019
Assignees: F-TECH INC., HONDA MOTOR CO., LTD.
Inventors: Norio Tomikuda, Takuya Tsurumi, Tomoyuki Imanishi
  • Patent number: 9751563
Abstract: To realize weight saving of a vehicle subframe, while ensuring required strength and stiffness thereof with a simple configuration, there are provided a first hole portion in at least one of an upper member and a lower member in a first region, and a second hole portion in at least one of the upper member and the lower member in a second region.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 10, 2014

  • Patent number: 9174677
Abstract: A joint part between a main body part of an automobile subframe and a suspension support member comprises a first joint part in which an upper plate is directly superimposed on and joined to the suspension support member, and a second joint part in which a lower plate is directly superimposed on and joined to the suspension support member, and since the first and second joint parts extend in the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction without overlapping each other, it becomes possible to directly transmit, to both the upper plate and the lower plate, a load that has been inputted from the suspension arm to the suspension support member, thus enhancing the joining strength of the main body part and the suspension support member. The upper plate and the lower plate are joined to the suspension support member from the same side.
