  • Patent number: 11839272
Abstract: In just one separate fastener stringer, a slider stops turning due to collision between a flange of the slider and a fastener element after turning in a direction a connecting pillar of the slider moves away from the fastener element provided in the just one separate fastener stringer. At this time point, an opposed tape side extending toward the flange forms an angle of less than or equal to 45° with respect to a center line of the slider.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 12, 2020
Date of Patent: December 12, 2023
    Assignee: YKK Corporation

  • Publication number: 20220386747
Abstract: A knitted fastener stringer has a chain stich yarn disposed on the innermost edge wale furthest from the tape body portion of an element attaching portion is the thickest of all the chain stich yarns used in a fastener tape. This enables a distance of a gap formed between left and right fastener tapes to be smaller when a slide fastener is formed by two knitted fastener stringers.

  • Publication number: 20220042218
Abstract: A knitted fastener stringer of the invention includes: a fastener tape; and a continuous element row which is fixed upon knitting the fastener tape, the fastener tape has a tape main body portion and an element attachment portion, the tape main body portion has a first region which neighbors the element attachment portion, a second region which neighbors the first region, and a third region which neighbors the second region and forms an outermost side edge portion, the second region is formed thinner than the first region, and the third region is formed thinner than the second region.

  • Patent number: 9510650
Abstract: In a knitted fastener stringer, a fastener element is fixed by a fixing chain stitch yarn disposed on an element attaching portion of a fastener tape. This fixing chain stitch yarn has a first needle loop which is knitted into a ground structure and a second needle loop which fixes upper and lower leg portions of the fastner element. As a result, it is possible to achieve an improvement of productivity and a large reduction of a manufacturing cost by increasing a knitting speed and further to stably obtain flexibility and a soft texture in the knitted fastener stringer.

  • Patent number: 9320327
Abstract: A knitted slide fastener in which a stable knitted mode of a knitting structure is maintained, and a fastener element row is strongly attached to a warp knitting fastener tape. A fixing chain knitting yarn of the fastener element row in the fastener element attaching portion and knitting yarns configuring a ground structure are knitted with independent single structures, respectively. Needle loops which are connected to each other in a longitudinal direction of the fixing chain knitting yarn mounts each of element legs of the continuous fastener element row, sinker loops which are connected to each other in the longitudinal direction of the fixing chain knitting yarn go under a sinker loop of a second warp knitting yarn which configures the ground structure and cross each other.

  • Publication number: 20140123444
Abstract: In a knitted fastener stringer, an element attaching portion of a fastener tape is configured by using at least a fixing chain stitch yarn which fixes a fastener element, and this fixing chain stitch yarn comprises a first needle loop which is knitted into a ground structure and a second needle loop which fixes upper and lower leg portions. Also, the one first and one second needle loops of the fixing chain stitch yarn is formed at each one pitch of the fastener element. As a result, it is possible to achieve an improvement of productivity and a large reduction of a manufacturing cost by increasing a knitting speed when knitting the knitted fastener stringer and further to stably obtain flexibility and a soft texture in the knitted fastener stringer.

  • Publication number: 20120279025
Abstract: A woven slide fastener which is knitted using a double-bed-type warp knitting machine, in which a stable woven mode of a ground structure is maintained and a fastener element row is strongly attached to a warp knitting fastener tape stably in size. A fixing chain knitting yarn of the fastener element row in the fastener element attaching portion and knitting yarns configuring a ground structure are knitted with independent single structures, respectively. Needle loops which are connected to each other in a longitudinal direction of the fixing chain knitting yarn presses each of element legs of the continuous fastener element row toward the ground structure, sinker loops which are connected to each other in the longitudinal direction of the fixing chain knitting yarn go under a sinker loop of a second warp knitting yarn which configures the ground structure and cross each other.

  • Patent number: 7293434
Abstract: A multifilament yarn composed of multiple filaments as thin as 0.5 to 1.5 dTex is used for all warp knitting yarns (1, 2) and warp weaving yarns (21 to 35-N) of a tape main body (A). As for an exposed portion on a side of a coupling head of each element covered with multiple fixing yarns (11, 11), when it is assumed that a distance from a front end of each coupling head (Eh) to an inside face of a connecting portion (Ec) is (a) while a dimension of a covered portion of an element (E) covered with the fixing yarns (11, 11) in a direction of a leg portion (El) thereof is (b), a value of a ratio (b/a) is larger than 1/2 and 4/5 or less.
