  • Patent number: 7698964
Abstract: A gear having a thin-walled section formed on one end face among two end faces of a tooth in a tooth-width direction is provided. A portion of the thin-walled section is projected and formed so as to serve as an overhanging section. The overhanging section prevents backlash. A thickness T3 of the overhanging section, a thickness T2 of a tooth flank corresponding section, and a thickness T1 of a tooth crest corresponding section positioned therebetween satisfies the relation T1<T3<T2.

  • Publication number: 20080066570
Abstract: Poor appearances, such as burns, black streaks, and short shots, that tend to occur near an outer circumference side edge of a tooth crest when a resin face gear is formed by injection molding, as a result of gas within a cavity not being smoothly discharged, is prevented. A projecting section is formed on an outer peripheral surface of teeth and on an outer peripheral surface of a web in a resin face gear, projecting in an outward radial direction. A parting line of a mold is formed passing through a peak formed near a tooth crest edge on the projecting section.

  • Publication number: 20080022799
Abstract: Occurrence of teeth-knocking noises during meshing, attributed to backlash, is reduced. In addition, torque fluctuations, cracks, and overshooting are prevented by deformation of an overhanging section being performed smoothly. A thin-walled section is formed on one end face among two end faces of a tooth in a tooth-width direction. A portion of the thin-walled section is projected and formed so as to serve as an overhanging section. The overhanging section prevents backlash. Regarding a thickness T3 of the overhanging section, a thickness T2 of a tooth flank corresponding section, and a thickness T1 of a tooth crest corresponding section positioned therebetween, T1<T3<T2 is satisfied. The tooth crest corresponding section having the thinnest thickness T1 is easily deformed. Therefore, deformation of the overhanging section when meshing with a partner gear is performed smoothly without inhibition.

  • Patent number: 4730890
Abstract: A plug set for optical connector for optical fiber cables arranged to fix reinforcing fibers of an optical fiber cable by at first placing the reinforcing fibers round an outer surface of an end portion of a bushing for inserting the optical fiber cable therein, attaching a thermo-shrinkable tube to the end portion of the bushing after the above so that the reinforcing fibers are covered with the thermo-shrinkable tube and, then, heating the tube so that the tube shrinks, the plug set for optical connector being arranged to thereby fix the reinforcing fibers without using a bonding agent.

  • Patent number: 4636034
Abstract: An optical connector for optical fiber cables comprising two ferrules respectively serving to hold end portions of two optical fibers to be connected and a sleeve with a longitudinal through hole having a cross sectional shape of regular hexagon and serving to insert the ferrules thereto, the optical connector being arranged to connect the two optical fibers by respectively inserting the two ferrules to the sleeve from both ends of the sleeve so that the end portions of the two ferrules contact each other in the inside of the sleeve and also arranged that the ferrules can be inserted easily and the ends of the two optical fibers are connected properly.

  • Patent number: 4473194
Abstract: A tape reel comprising a first flange having a hub formed with a plurality of coupling pawls on the top face and a second flange integrally coupled with the hub by fitting the coupling pawls respectively into a plurality of openings formed thereon. The respective pawls are so arranged on the bridge-shaped portions formed on the top of the hub that the hook portions are directed to the center of the hub in order to ensure the coupling between the hub and second flange and the edge portions of respective openings to be engaged with the hook portions are depressed to a depth so as to be able to correspond to the thickness of the second flange and the coupling pawls are so formed that the engaging faces of respective hook portions are on the same level as of the top face of the hub.
