  • Patent number: 9985698
Abstract: A communication device includes an antenna, at least one magnetic field sensor, a communication component, and a controller. The antenna generates a magnetic field and communicates with an external device that generates a magnetic field during communication. The at least one magnetic field sensor includes a pair of sensor elements. The at least one magnetic field sensor detects magnetic field strength by receiving the magnetic field of the antenna and the magnetic field of the external device. The communication component communicates with the external device via the antenna. The controller processes output signal indicative of the magnetic field strength detected by the at least one magnetic field sensor. A component of the magnetic field of the antenna in the output signal is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 9264105
Abstract: A communication device includes a sensor, an antenna, and a notification component. The sensor is configured to detect magnetic field strength. The antenna is configured to generate a magnetic field. The antenna is further configured to communicate with a wireless device that is configured to generate a magnetic field during communication. The notification component is configured to notify a positional offset between the antenna and the wireless device based on output signal indicative of the magnetic field strength. The sensor is arranged with respect to the antenna such that an effect of the magnetic field generated by the antenna on the output signal is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 7463273
Abstract: A printer capable of correctly sensing the internal ambient temperature of a printer body with no influence by an electronic component such as a power supply component reaching a high temperature is obtained. This printer comprises a temperature sensor chip for sensing the internal ambient temperature of the printer body, the electronic component and a ground pattern formed on a wiring board for grounding the temperature sensor chip and the electronic component. A portion of the ground pattern connected to the temperature sensor chip is partially formed narrower than another portion of the ground pattern connected to the electronic component.

  • Publication number: 20080095551
Abstract: Obtained is an image generating apparatus capable of suppressing power consumption in the overall apparatus in printing. This image generating apparatus includes a driving source for driving transport means transporting a paper printable with image data and a control portion supplying a first amount of energy to the driving source in an acceleration period of the driving source for bringing the paper to a constant speed from the start of transportation while switching to a second amount of energy smaller than the first amount of energy in synchronization with arrival of the paper at the constant speed for supplying the second amount of energy to the driving source.
