    Abstract: In the apparatus of the present invention for processing data contents of totalizing memories, item signs and arithmetic signs are preset in memory terms to be processed such as weight, price and so forth. The apparatus comprises an internal memory having a matrix-like memory processing table where processing numerical expressions are set by combination of items signs and arithmetic signs at predetermined addresses of the table constituted by the totalizing memories with designated addresses and the memory processing timing in respect of such memories; and an external input means for designating a desired address in the internal memory and changing and inputting the processing numerical expression of the matrix-like table thereto. Thus the contents of the totalizing memories can be altered and set easily by the numerical expressions which are changeable by such external input means, hence facilitating alteration of the contents to be totalized at the user level.

    Abstract: Resistance of a thermal head is stored as a digital signal in a head resistance memory. Output according to data in the head resistance memory is calculated by a head voltage calculation circuit for storing a correlation between resistance of the thermal head at a fixed normal temperature and supply voltage. The output from the head voltage calculation circuit is converted by a D/A converter to a reference voltage, which is then fed to a constant-voltage power source for applying the supply voltage to the thermal head, so that an optimum supply voltage to the thermal head may be automatically set, and temperature of the thermal head generating heat may be maintained constant.

    Abstract: An electronic weighing device comprises a weighing apparatus for generating weight data responsive to the weight of a load, a memory having a true value memory area and N data memory areas for time sequentially storing the weight data from this weighing apparatus in every sampling cycle, a display device for displaying at least the true value data stored in the true value memory area, and a control unit for storing into the true value memory area the true value data calculated by processing the weight data stored in the N data memory areas in accordance with a display blinking prevention process. When it is detected that the difference between the weight data derived in two successive sampling cycles is a predetermined value or more, the control unit inhibits the display blinking prevention process and stores into the true value memory area the true value data calculated on the basis of the weight data stored in the N data memory areas.

    Abstract: In counting in-line system of the invention, a center machine and a plurality of scales are in-line connected, centralized control of transaction data per each weighed or non-weighed article registered in the scale is performed by the center machine, and according to receipt issuing request from side of the scale, print data is supplied from the center machine to the scale so as to issue the receipt, thereby fine control of the transaction data and arbitrary receipt issuing at side of the scale can be effected and the counting in-line system becomes suited to each shop and easy for the use. The transaction data is controlled using two independent numbers, the customer number and the clerk number, thereby the processing can be performed corresponding to the floating system and the clerk fixed system.

    Abstract: A label issuing apparatus which feeds labels adhered in a line on a base carrier paper, is arranged to stop the feed of the labels at a first printing position and to print thereat on each label, and then to feed the labels so that printed labels issue from a label issuing outlet. The label issuing apparatus is comprised of a keyboard including a RAM having first and second memory areas, a set key, an execution key and ten numerical entry keys. The keyboard stores first and second feed distance data into the first and second memory areas when the keys are operated, and a feed control unit feeds the label carrier paper through a distance corresponding to the first feed distance data when a leading edge of a printed label is detected. The feed control unit sets and prints the label at the first printing position, and then feeds the carrier paper through a distance corresponding to the second distance data to define a second printing position.
