  • Patent number: 10703207
Abstract: In an outboard motor, a controller controls an electric motor. An output outputs a predetermined notification information in response to a notification command signal output from the controller. When the controller receives a shut-off signal indicating that a semiconductor fuse is off, the controller outputs the notification command signal and causes the output to output notification information. When the controller receives a recovery operation signal indicating a predetermined operation performed by a user from an operator in a state where the semiconductor fuse has turned off, the controller outputs a recovery command signal to the semiconductor fuse.

  • Patent number: 10625837
Abstract: A controller controls a tilt-trim device under an automatic control mode such that the tilt-trim device automatically causes an outboard motor to continuously perform a tilt-trim motion within a motion range set in advance when an operation has been performed the plurality of times within the predetermined period of time. The controller deactivates the tilt-trim device when the outboard motor reaches either an upper limit or a lower limit of the motion range. The controller changes the motion range in accordance with a setting signal for setting the motion range when receiving the setting signal.

  • Patent number: 10336427
Abstract: A remote control outputs a remote control signal to operate an outboard motor. A joystick outputs a joystick signal to operate the outboard motor. A controller is configured or programmed to receive the remote control signal from the remote control and the joystick signal from the joystick, and to control shifting between forward movement and rearward movement by the outboard motor in response to operation of the remote control and the joystick. The controller executes first shift shock correction control when shifting between forward movement and rearward movement by the outboard motor in response to operation of the remote control. The controller executes second shift shock correction control different from the first shift shock correction control when shifting between forward movement and rearward movement by the outboard motor in response to operation of the joystick.

  • Patent number: 8019399
Abstract: A principal component analysis or an independent component analysis is conducted on the living body signals, e.g., local cerebral blood amount change signals obtained by the living body optical measurement to extract and display multiple component signals thereof. Signals other than the component signals containing noise are selected from these component signals automatically or manually, and the local cerebral blood amount change signals are reconstructed by using selected signals. The reconstructed signals is displayed and further subjected to the component analysis or the reconstruction as appropriate, and used for the profiling of information necessary for the diagnosis. Consequently, high-precision target signals can be obtained by completely removing external noise included in the living body signals, particularly the noise which cannot be adequately removed by the moving average and the filtering processings.

  • Patent number: 7805225
Abstract: A remote control apparatus for controlling multiple propulsion units of a boat is provided. The remote control apparatus, in one embodiment, comprises a body having a first control lever and a second control lever. An electronic control unit is disposed within the body of the remote control apparatus and comprises a storage device and a contact member. The storage device can store a correction value for calibrating the control levers, while the contact member determines when correction values can be entered into the storage device when the contact member is in an enabled state. The remote control apparatus can be calibrated before the apparatus is installed on the boat, thereby eliminating the need for an operator to calibrate the remote control apparatus. A boat having the remote control apparatus described herein and a method for storing a calibration value for the control lever are also provided.
