  • Publication number: 20230074158
Abstract: A system and method for dielectric bonding including a dielectric heater having a pair of opposing electrode plates, a nest removably coupled to a first electrode plate of the pair of electrode plates, and an interchangeable electrode assembly removably coupled to a second electrode plate of the pair of electrode plates. The nest having a plurality of cooling channels defined in a body thereof in which a cooling fluid circulates to cool a material assembly that is supported by the nest. The interchangeable electrode assembly having a plurality of concentrator members that are configured to concentrate energy from a voltage source in predetermined locations on the material assembly.

  • Patent number: 11007674
Abstract: The present invention provides a heating device and a method for manufacturing a heated molding material. The method uses the heating device to continuously manufacture the heated molding material. The heating device includes a heating chamber for heating a molding material, at least one opening section for feeding or expelling molding material therethrough, and a means for using nitrogen gas or superheated steam to expel oxygen gas present in the heating chamber.

  • Publication number: 20030223380
Abstract: The present invention reduces the number of optical fibers used without impairing a self-recovery function of a ring network system. Current interfaces of a plurality of nodes constituting a ring network system are connected together by optical fibers, while standby interfaces of the nodes are connected together by optical fibers. However, an optical fiber is connected to an input end and an output end of each of those current interfaces which are not involved in signal communication in the current interfaces, in such a manner that the optical fiber loops from the input end to the output end.

  • Publication number: 20030070800
Abstract: An air conditioning system for a vehicle. The air conditioning system has a compressor and an evaporator. The compressor is driven by a vehicle engine and a motor separately operable from the vehicle engine. The evaporator is disposed in a predetermined air passage to cool the air. The air conditioning system comprises an intake door, predicting means and switching means. The intake door is disposed upstream of the air passage and is switched between a first position and a second position. The intake door is arranged to introduce ambient air from outside of the vehicle in the first position and interior air from inside the vehicle in the second position. The predicting means is disposed for predicting a non-operating state of the vehicle engine. The switching means is disposed for switching the intake door to the second position based on a prediction of the predicting means.
