  • Publication number: 20140293548
Abstract: An electric power semiconductor device includes a power module and a heat dissipating member connected to the power module through a heat-conductive insulating resin sheet in which a mold resin part included in the power module has a protruding part in its peripheral part to prevent the heat-conductive insulating resin sheet from expanding in a planar direction. The heat-conductive insulating resin sheet is slightly thicker than the protruding part and has a resin exuding part exuded from a small gap between the protruding part and the heat dissipating member while the power module and the heat dissipating member are heated and pressurized to be bonded.

  • Publication number: 20130200136
Abstract: In the present invention, when a power module is soldered to a heatsink, steam which is temperature-adjusted to at least the melting point of a solder is introduced from a steam generating tank into the flow path provided in the heatsink, the heatsink is heated and the solder is melted. Inert gas is introduced into a soldering tank from another route so as not to mix with the steam supplied to the heatsink. Voids in the solder are reduced and condensed by pressure regulation and as a result the negative impact of voids is eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20090229153
Abstract: When an organic EL device 9 is turned ON, an image of a design 2b of a design film 2 formed by light L2 emitted when light L1 generated in an organic layer 7 is transmitted through the design film 2 and a transparent member 3 and then enters a half mirror layer 4 and an image of the design 2b of the design film 2 formed by light L5 emitted when the above-mentioned light is reflected by the half mirror layer 4 and then reflected by a reflection electrode layer of the organic EL device 9 are shifted to each other in a horizontal direction without a loss. As a result, the design 2b drawn on the design film 2 comes up and is seen in three dimensions. When the organic EL device 9 is turned OFF, the light emission from a surface light-emission apparatus 1 stops so that the apparatus serves as a simple mirror by virtue of the half mirror layer 4.

  • Publication number: 20080309593
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel and an illumination unit. The illumination unit has a planar light emitting region formed by an EL element. The light emitting region is formed by a plurality of linear light emitting regions that extend in a direction perpendicular to the vertical scanning direction of liquid crystal. The linear light emitting regions are switched between a light emitting state and a non-light emitting state based on a command signal from a controller in a manner that the linear light emitting regions sequentially emit light in synchronization with vertical scanning of the liquid crystal. Each linear light emitting region is controlled to be in the non-light emitting state at least during a drive data rewriting period of a portion of the liquid crystal immediately above the linear light emitting region.

  • Publication number: 20050253492
Abstract: A luminescent panel has a light emitting portion for emitting isotropic light and a non-light emitting portion. A brightness compensating member has an incident portion and a light exit portion. The incident portion includes at least one inclined surface that is inclined relative to the light exit portion. The inclined surface is arranged to correspond to the non-light emitting portion. The inclined surface is configured so that the brightness of a section of the brightness compensating member that corresponds to the light emitting portion is substantially equal to the brightness of a section of the brightness compensating member that corresponds to the non-light emitting portion. Therefore, a substantially uniform brightness is obtained from the light exit portion.

  • Publication number: 20040161222
Abstract: An optical waveguide includes light admitting portions and a light emitting portion. Each light admitting portion admits light from a point light source. The light emitting portion emits light admitted by the light admitting portions. Each light admitting portion has an incidence portion. Each incidence portion includes incidence planes each extending in the width direction of the light admitting portions, and V-shaped grooves, which are alternately arranged. Each light admitting portion has a pair of flat reflection planes, which extend between the corresponding incidence portion and the light emitting portion. The distance between the reflection planes in each light admitting portion increases from a side opposite from the light emitting portion toward the light emitting portion. Therefore, the light emitting efficiency of the optical waveguide is improved, and brightness unevenness created the vicinity of each point light source is reduced.
