  • Patent number: 5059843
Abstract: A rotary machine having a machine body, and a cover covering an open end of the body. The cover is mounted and fixed to the machine body by mounting hooks formed as elastic plate-shaped members on the peripheral edge of the cover which is adjacent to the open end, and the distal end portion of each hook projects from the peripheral edge and has a folded end. Mounting portions at the open end of the machine body allow the hooks to be inserted therein. Therefore, the cover can be assembled onto the machine body with ease, at improved efficiency, and at low cost.

  • Patent number: 5051636
Abstract: A dynamic electric machine such as a totally-enclosed fan-cooled machine has an end bracket having a plurality of seats to which a cover such as a fan cover is fixed through a plurality of generally cylindrical rubber bushings. The bushing has a nut embedded therein near one end thereof and an outer peripheral flange portion formed on the other end thereof. With the cover being placed on the flange portions, bolts are driven into the nuts from the outer side of the cover so as to fix the cover to the seats through the rubber bushings.

  • Patent number: 5026476
Abstract: A rotary machine having a machine body and a cover covering an opening of the body. The cover is fixed to the body by an improved vibration-absorbent structure. A peripheral edge of the cover which is adjacent to the body has plate-spring-shaped mounting brackets whose distal ends project from the edge. The end of the machine body which is adjacent to the cover has mounting portions that are grooves or holes. The bracket distal ends are inserted into the mounting portions through rubber vibration insulating members. With the structure, the cover is assembled at improved efficiency and is restrained from vibration.

  • Patent number: 5008575
Abstract: A lifting structure for lifting a dynamic electric machine of the type having a substantially cylindrical stator frame provided on the outer peripheral surface thereof with a plurality of heat radiating ribs extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine. The structure includes grooves formed by casting or extrusion in the opposing walls of two adjacent heat radiating ribs so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the machine. The structure also includes a lifting member such as an eye bolt provided at its lower portion with a sliding engaging portion with an expanded portion such as a nut for sliding engagement with the grooves.
