  • Publication number: 20210238528
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a fiber sheet that can be used as a cell scaffold material and provide a stable and uniform cell sheet. [Solution] The present invention provides an oriented fiber sheet. The diameter, in an orthogonal cross-section, of a fiber forming the fiber sheet is 1 ?m to 7 ?m. The pitch of the fiber sheet is 6 ?m to 60 ?m, the porosity is 10% to 60%, and the thickness is 4 ?m to 70 ?m. When a plurality of layers of the fiber sheet are stacked upon one another, the orientation axes of the fiber sheets intersect at angles of 5° to 25°. The fiber forming the fiber sheet are prepared from a biodegradable or non-biodegradable polymer material. PLGA is preferable as a biodegradable polymer material. Polystyrene is preferable as a non-biodegradable polymer material.

  • Publication number: 20200407674
Abstract: Problems: A devise for retaining and transporting cells that is capable of holding cultured cells and moving the cells while holding them is provided. Solutions: The device for retaining and transporting cells 100 has a base 101, a through hole 103, a cell scaffold 105, and an manipulating part 107. The cell scaffold 105 holds cells such as cardiac myocytes and nerve cells. When holding the cells in the cell scaffold 105, drop the suspension from the through hole 103 to the cell scaffold 105 exposing from the through hole 103 using a pipette etc. and culture. The manipulating part 107 is formed so as to project from the upper surface P101a of the base 101. Multiple manipulating part 107 is formed radially on the upper surface P101a of the base 101, centered on the through hole 103. By forming the manipulating part 107, the manipulating part 107 can be held by a holder such as tweezers, which enables easy operation of the device for retaining and transporting cells 100.

  • Patent number: 10209875
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a display that displays a content, and a detector that detects contactless proximity of an object to the display and contact of the object to the display. While the content scrolls on the display at gradually decreasing speeds, when the contactless proximity of the object to the display is detected and the contact of the object to the display is not detected, a scrolling speed of the content changes from the gradually decreasing speeds to a constant speed, which is faster than being stopped. After the scrolling speed of the content has changed to the constant speed, while the contactless proximity of the object to the display is detected and the contact of the object to the display is not detected, the content scrolls on the display at the constant speed.

  • Patent number: 9863614
Abstract: A beam-control member has a substantially cylindrical holder that is light-permeable, and a first beam-control member disposed on an end surface of the holder, the first beam-control member reflecting part of the light emitted from a light-emitting element and admitting part of the light. A guide protrusion and a tab are provided on the end surface of the holder. A concave portion corresponding to the tab is provided on an outer circumferential part of one surface of the first beam-control member. The first beam-control member is radially mated in a rotatable manner along the guide protrusion. Rotating the first beam-control member on the end surface of the holder so that the tab and the concave portion engage causes the first beam-control member to be secured on the end surface of the holder.

  • Patent number: 9383907
Abstract: A scrolling apparatus includes a screen, a contact detector which detects contact of a finger to the screen, a proximity detector which detects proximity of a finger to the screen, and a scrolling controller. If a first proximity of the finger is detected when an inertial scrolling of content is started, the scrolling controller transitions from the inertial scrolling to a constant scroll speed. When the detection of the first proximity of the finger continues, the scrolling at constant scroll speed continues even after the first proximity of the finger is not detected. When the scrolling at constant speed is performed after the first proximity of the finger is not detected, if a second proximity of the finger is detected, the scrolling controller stops the scrolling at constant speed, and then if the second proximity of the finger is not detected, the scrolling controller restarts the scrolling at constant speed.

  • Patent number: 9297511
Abstract: A member for controlling luminous flux (100) has an incidence surface (110) and an emitting surface (120). The incidence surface (110) is a pyramidal surface having a recessed shape relative to the bottom of the member for controlling luminous flux (100), and having rounded borders between the individual facets. The horizontal cross-section of the incidence surface (110) is substantially similar in shape to that of an n-hedral irradiated surface (410). In the horizontal cross-section of the emitting surface (120), each of the straight lines connecting together adjacent angles of the n angles that correspond to the n angles of the irradiated surface (410) is substantially parallel to the side that corresponds to the horizontal cross-section of the incidence surface (110). The horizontal cross-section of the emitting surface (120) is the same as the n-hedron formed by the straight lines in the cross section, or fits inside the n-hedron.
