  • Publication number: 20150360479
Abstract: A recording apparatus includes an endless belt wound around a driving pulley and a driven pulley, a driven pulley holder which holds the driven pulley and is movably provided in the wound direction of the endless belt, a frame on which the driven pulley holder is provided, a first biasing portion for biasing the driven pulley holder to a direction away from the driving pulley, and a regulating portion for regulating a movement of a predetermined distance or longer of the driven pulley holder toward the driving pulley side, in which the regulating portion is movably provided in the wound direction of the endless belt with respect to the frame and is biased to the driven pulley holder side by a second biasing portion.

  • Patent number: 8113645
Abstract: A recording apparatus includes: a loading section in which a recording medium is set; a feed roller feeding the recording medium set in the loading section; a first urging mechanism urging one of the loading section and the feed roller to decrease a distance between the set recording medium and the feed roller; an edge guide being movable in a width direction of the recording medium to align lateral edges of the recording medium set in the loading section; a DC motor allowing the edge guide to move; and a determination unit determining whether a current value at the time of driving the DC motor reaches a predetermined threshold value. Here, the driving of the DC motor is stopped when it is determined by the determination unit that the current value reaches the predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 8070157
Abstract: A recording apparatus includes: edge guides which move in a width direction of the recording target medium and align side edges of the recording target medium which is stacked; a motor which moves the edge guides; a determining section which determines whether an electric current value when the motor is driven reaches a predetermined threshold value; and a position detecting section which detects a position of the edge guides in the width direction. Here, when the side edges of the recording target medium are aligned, the edge guides move close to the recording target medium and it is determined whether a difference between a position of the edge guides at the time when the electric current value reaches the predetermined threshold value and a position of the edge guides corresponding to the size of the recording target medium is equal to or smaller than a predetermined allowable value.

  • Patent number: 7950650
Abstract: A feeding device includes a mounting portion which mounts media thereon, a feeding roller which feeds the mounted media, an edge-guide which moves in a widthwise direction of the mounted media which traverses a feeding direction of the mounted media and aligns both sides of the mounted media, and a curve-imparting portion which imparts a curve to the mounted media in a direction which intersects a moving direction of the edge-guide.
