  • Patent number: 11964483
Abstract: An inkjet printing head 1 includes a pressure chamber 5, a movable film formation layer 10 that includes a movable film 10A defining a top surface portion of the pressure chamber 5, and a piezoelectric element 6 that is formed to contact a surface of the movable film 10A at an opposite side from the pressure chamber 5 and having a peripheral edge receded further toward an interior of the pressure chamber 5 than the movable film 10A in plan view. The piezoelectric element 6 includes a lower electrode 7 formed on a surface of the movable film formation layer 10 at the opposite side from the pressure chamber 5, an upper electrode 9 disposed at an opposite side from the movable film formation layer 10 with respect to the lower electrode 7, and a piezoelectric film 8 provided between the upper electrode 9 and the lower electrode 7, and the upper electrode 9 has a thin portion 92 at least at a portion of a peripheral edge portion.

  • Patent number: 5271681
Abstract: A paper cassette used in a printer for holding sheets of paper. The cassette comprises a case holding sheets of paper and corner claws mounted at both sides of the front end of this case. The claws engage the front ends of the corners of the uppermost sheet of paper. The claws have front walls which are inclined upwardly toward the direction in which the uppermost sheet is fed. The front walls are also inclined from the front end of the uppermost toward the direction in which the walls are distant from the front end of the sheet by slow degrees toward the inside of the widthwise of the sheet. When the uppermost sheet is curled, the corners of the front end of the sheet are disengaged from the corner claws certainly.

  • Patent number: 5205662
Abstract: Method of feeding a sheet of paper in a small-sized paper having small transport rollers mounted downstream of the print head. The feeding of the sheet is stopped temporarily when the sheet arrives at each of a number of positions located before the discharge rollers during a line feed operation. Under this interrupted condition, the print head is reciprocated once idly in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the sheet is fed. Therefore, even if the front end portion of the sheet curls to a great extent, the curl is reduced by the idle movement of the head immediately before the front end of the sheet arrives between the discharge rollers. This ensures that the sheet is fed between the discharge rollers even if the diameter of the rollers is small.
