Patent number: 6668992Abstract: A clutch-brake system in which at least one of clutch and brake devices has the following structure. A friction plate is mounted on a drive shaft to be synchronously rotatable on the drive shaft, but not to be movable in an axis direction of the drive shaft. First and second discs are provided on the opposite sides of the friction plate in the axis direction of the drive shaft, and movable in the axis direction. The first and second discs are synchronously moved in the opposite directions along the axis of the drive shaft, enabling to selectively switch between an operation state and a non-operation state.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2002Date of Patent: December 30, 2003Assignee: Aida Engineering, Ltd.Inventors: Noriyuki Shimizu, Masakatsu Shiga, Naonori Taniguchi

Patent number: 6575087Abstract: A suspension mechanism is formed as a liquid-tight structure by fitting the bottom end of a female screw member using a liquid-tight sealing member provided between a slider and a retainer and by covering the retainer with the liquid-tight sealing member. A highly-pressurized liquid is initially supplied to each clearance formed between any components such as liquid-tight sealing member, female screw member, male screw member and retainer through a liquid supply passage formed through the liquid-tight sealing member. The highly-pressurized liquid is supplied by an amount flows out through the screwing portions between the male and female screw members to maintain the pressure of liquid within the liquid-tight structure in a predetermined range.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2002Date of Patent: June 10, 2003Assignee: Aida Engineering, Ltd.Inventors: Masakatsu Shiga, Noriyuki Shimizu, Naonori Taniguchi

Patent number: 6562493Abstract: Provided are a battery and a lead member, designed so that high strength of weld between them can be maintained with less variation despite the supply of lower welding current thereto when the lead member is welded to the outer surface of the battery by the parallel resistance welding method, and a battery pack using the same. A layer of an Ni-based alloy, e.g., an Ni—Fe alloy, is formed on a part or the whole of the outer surface of the battery. The lead member for battery connection is composed of a substrate and an Ni—Sn alloy layer formed on that surface of the substrate which is welded to the outer surface of the battery. The battery pack is composed of a battery group that is assembled by using the battery and/or the lead member and stored in a shell.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 1999Date of Patent: May 13, 2003Assignee: Toshiba Battery Co., Ltd.Inventors: Masazumi Tsukada, Reiji Nishikawa, Hideaki Kitazume, Tsutomu Matsui, Noriyuki Shimizu, Kayo Tanaka, Kaoru Hosobuchi

Publication number: 20030051612Abstract: Guide posts that guide the elevating motion of a slide also serves as the guide means for the elevating motion of a bolster. A bolster elevation drive means consists of a hydraulic cylinder. The top of the hydraulic cylinder is connected to the bottom of the bolster. For maintenance and inspection of the dies, the bolster is lowered to open a space between the upper die and the lower die. During operation of the press, the bolster is supported by hydraulic pressure trapped in the hydraulic cylinder.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 24, 2002Publication date: March 20, 2003Applicant: AIDA ENGINEERING CO., LTDInventors: Akira Yamanouchi, Noriyuki Shimizu, Naonori Taniguchi

Patent number: 4333955Abstract: A method for producing instantly cookable dried beans which restore their boiled edible condition quickly after being immersed in a hot water. This method comprises a preliminary boiling step to boil raw beans in water, a preliminary immersion step to immerse those boiled beans in water, an enzymatic treatment step to treat the resulting beans in an aqueous solution containing either cellulase or a mixture of cellulase and pectinase, a secondary boiling step to boil these processed beans in an acidic solution, and a drying step to dry the resulting beans in a super-heated steam. The beans before the drying step may be coated with sucrose or lactose. The product dry beans have good appearance with practically no cracks and fractures, and retain their flavor as beans, and can be preserved for an extended period of time, in addition to the feature that the product dried beans are quickly rendered to soft edible state by immersing them in hot water.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 1980Date of Patent: June 8, 1982Assignee: Kanebo Foods, Ltd.Inventors: Susumu Murata, Noriyuki Shimizu, Sadao Kokeguchi
