  • Patent number: 11505027
Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicular suspension control assembly and a kit of parts therefore configured to connect to opposite ends of a vehicle axle housing and to opposite sides of the vehicle. The assembly includes a control module configured to connect to the opposite ends of the vehicle axle housing and a frame module configured to connect to the opposite sides of the vehicle. The control and frame modules are interconnected with pivot control members to allow both modules to keep equal weight on the rear wheels during vehicle cornering. The control module has a straight pivot link connected to one side of the axle housing and an interconnected asymmetrical pivot link connected to the other side of the axle housing. When cornering, additional weight is applied to one side of the axle housing. In response, the pivot links of the control assembly transfer weight to the other side of the housing, to keep equal weight on the rear wheels.

  • Patent number: 11413186
Abstract: A trauma heater system uses the exothermic properties of the reaction between the gas (Co2) and chemical crystals (Group IA and IIA hydroxides and metal hydroxides) to provide heat. Heat generated by the trauma heater system reverses temperature loss in a person's body subjected to lower outside temperature, as in hypothermia, thereby restoring lost body heat and/or maintaining a person's body temperature to prevent hypothermia.

  • Patent number: 10684042
Abstract: A chemical reaction heating system includes a valved mask to capture and direct carbon dioxide from a user's exhaled breath into a tube or air intake chamber, a connecting mechanism to attach and control flow of carbon dioxide stored within prefilled carbon dioxide gas cartridges or containers, a heating system device body, an intake chamber or tube to facilitate the introduction of carbon dioxide enriched air into the system, a canister body containing Group IA and IIA metal hydroxides, a heat-radiating element to direct the heat generated within the heating system device body, and an exhaust element to release the heat generated. The system performs a chemical reaction operation between carbon dioxide and Group IA and IIA metal hydroxides to create an exothermic heat reaction that achieves the ability to heat spaces and objects.

  • Patent number: 9425572
Abstract: A wedge connector assembly including an installation tool having a tool body and a frame connected to the tool body. A sleeve is received by the frame and a wedge is received by the sleeve. A firing mechanism is movably connected to the tool body. A movable ram extends from the tool body into the frame such that movement of the ram drives the wedge into the sleeve when the installation tool is fired. A piston is movably disposed in the tool body between the ram and the firing mechanism. The piston is moved when the firing mechanism is activated, thereby driving the wedge into the sleeve. An indicator disposed on the ram indicates when the installation tool is in a proper firing position to substantially prevent over-torquing the installation tool.

  • Patent number: 9011625
Abstract: An elastic nonwoven composite that contains an elastic film laminated to one or more nonwoven web materials is provided. The composite is formed by passing the film through a nip to bond the film to the nonwoven web material(s). Concurrent with bond formation, apertures are also formed in the elastic film. The apertures are of a size sufficient to provide a desired level of texture, softness, hand feel, and/or aesthetic appeal to the composite without having a significant adverse effect on its elastic properties. Aperture and bond formation are accomplished in the present invention by selectively controlling certain parameters of the lamination process, such as film content, bonding pattern, degree of film tension, bonding conditions, etc.

  • Patent number: 8572728
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to initiation of storage device scans based on a record of existing scans of the storage device. In particular, example embodiments include a mechanism that maintains a record of existing scans of the storage device including an entry for each scan initiated by one of a plurality of scanning processes. In some embodiments, the record of existing scans may then be accessed in determining whether to initiate or permit initiation of a new scan.
