Patent number: 11505027Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicular suspension control assembly and a kit of parts therefore configured to connect to opposite ends of a vehicle axle housing and to opposite sides of the vehicle. The assembly includes a control module configured to connect to the opposite ends of the vehicle axle housing and a frame module configured to connect to the opposite sides of the vehicle. The control and frame modules are interconnected with pivot control members to allow both modules to keep equal weight on the rear wheels during vehicle cornering. The control module has a straight pivot link connected to one side of the axle housing and an interconnected asymmetrical pivot link connected to the other side of the axle housing. When cornering, additional weight is applied to one side of the axle housing. In response, the pivot links of the control assembly transfer weight to the other side of the housing, to keep equal weight on the rear wheels.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2021Date of Patent: November 22, 2022Inventor: Kenneth Norman Brown

Patent number: 11413186Abstract: A trauma heater system uses the exothermic properties of the reaction between the gas (Co2) and chemical crystals (Group IA and IIA hydroxides and metal hydroxides) to provide heat. Heat generated by the trauma heater system reverses temperature loss in a person's body subjected to lower outside temperature, as in hypothermia, thereby restoring lost body heat and/or maintaining a person's body temperature to prevent hypothermia.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2018Date of Patent: August 16, 2022Inventor: Glenn Norman Brown

Patent number: 9425572Abstract: A wedge connector assembly including an installation tool having a tool body and a frame connected to the tool body. A sleeve is received by the frame and a wedge is received by the sleeve. A firing mechanism is movably connected to the tool body. A movable ram extends from the tool body into the frame such that movement of the ram drives the wedge into the sleeve when the installation tool is fired. A piston is movably disposed in the tool body between the ram and the firing mechanism. The piston is moved when the firing mechanism is activated, thereby driving the wedge into the sleeve. An indicator disposed on the ram indicates when the installation tool is in a proper firing position to substantially prevent over-torquing the installation tool.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2015Date of Patent: August 23, 2016Assignee: Hubbell IncorporatedInventors: Lawrence Norman Brown, Henry Arnold Maxwell

Patent number: 9011625Abstract: An elastic nonwoven composite that contains an elastic film laminated to one or more nonwoven web materials is provided. The composite is formed by passing the film through a nip to bond the film to the nonwoven web material(s). Concurrent with bond formation, apertures are also formed in the elastic film. The apertures are of a size sufficient to provide a desired level of texture, softness, hand feel, and/or aesthetic appeal to the composite without having a significant adverse effect on its elastic properties. Aperture and bond formation are accomplished in the present invention by selectively controlling certain parameters of the lamination process, such as film content, bonding pattern, degree of film tension, bonding conditions, etc.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2013Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Kimberly-Clark Worldwide, Inc.Inventors: Jose Siqueira, Ann L.
