    Abstract: A male and female connector contains a plurality of possible positions for key type projections and an equal number of receiving type features for accepting the key type projections. The features are arranged in nonsymmetrical but regularly spaced fashion, and the number of different combinations possible is given by the relationship C=n!/r!(n-r)! where n is the total number of feature positions and r is the number of actual features provided.
